RESUMO:

The research proposes a study on the thematic representation of the document
journalistic audiovisual, starting from the following problem: as a new proposal of
thematic representation for the audiovisual document, from the Journalism Course of
Federal University of Cariri, supports the recovery of information within
a digital audiovisual memory system? The research is part of a
broadening of the discussion on audiovisual documents, based on the
interdisciplinarity of the librarianship, information science and
Communication, with emphasis on Journalism. As a general objective, we seek to develop
an indexing guide for the audiovisual documents of the Journalism Course of the
Federal University of Cariri. And, followed by the specific objectives: a) describe
how the stages of information storage and retrieval occur; b) analyze the
content of the audiovisual documents of the Journalism Course and; c) propose a model
thematic representation of information for audiovisual documents
journalistic. The methodology is of the applied type and characterized by an approach
quantitative and qualitative, going through the bibliographic survey on the theme, use of
documentary and descriptive research. In addition, the application of content analysis on
audiovisual documents produced by students of the Journalism Course at
Federal University of Cariri in the period 2013-2019, based on the analysis technique 

documentary based on decoupage as a new element. From the above,
it is understood that the indexing guide for journalistic audiovisual documents
dialogues with the construction of a more thematic representation more appropriate for
this document model, in addition to establishing an audiovisual memory system
for the audiovisual documents of the Journalism Course of Universidade Federal do
Cariri.
