SURVEY OF UNDERGROUND WATERS AND ITS CHARACTERISTICS FOR USE OF FORAGE PRODUCTION IN BODOCÓ - PE.
SUSTAINABILITY, PRODUCTION, MANAGEMENT
Sustainable development was defined by the United Nations in 1987 and at the ECO'92 Conference held in Rio de Janeiro as “a development that meets the present needs of a caring humanity, but leaves future generations the possibility of survive and prosper ”. The sustainable use of water is directly related to this development, since when water is lacking, consequently, no food is produced. In the municipality of Bodocó, the strong agriculture is dependent on its quantity. After consecutive years of drought, alternatives were sought to address the lack of this good in food production and desedentation to and from animals, and groundwater is an important source to assist in this demand, care is required for the use and sustainable production of groundwater quality is closely linked to local rock formation and soil-plant management is influenced by soil quality. The search for solutions for sustainable production involves the adoption of techniques and studies of the factors involved. Several models must be developed to ensure the production and preservation of the environment.
