RESUMO:

The region where the Northeast of Brazil is located is characterized by the semi-arid climate and
by both the spatial and temporal irregularity of the rains throughout the year and
the highest volumes of rainfall in the first four months of the year. Events
prolonged droughts such as the one that has been occurring in the last five years,
mainly agricultural production, public supply and productive sectors of the
region. In this way, the correct management of water resources and scientific knowledge
climate dynamics, become increasingly necessary in order to achieve the
water sustainability in the region, as a result of the constant increase in demand for water
and the reduction of water availability. Faced with this lack, this research intends to
compares rainfall data from the Tropical Rainfall satellite
Measuring Mission (TRMM) product 3B43_V7, with observed rainfall data
in the rainfall stations of the Cearense Foundation of Meteorology and Resources
(FUNCEME), for the state of Ceará. The research begins with the organization,
evaluation and selection of the pluviometric data of both FUNCEME and TRMM,
then spatialization and interpolation will be done for areas with missing data by
interpolators: Inverse of the Distance Square (IQD), Spline and Kriging, and
Polygon Thiessen. In the second part, there is agreement between the data
observed and estimated, for this, the data will be submitted to geostatistical tests
such as: correlation coefficient (r), absolute mean error (EMA), root mean error
(REQM) and bias (Pbias). The data will be compared in monthly and
accumulated annually, through the following methods: Point Pixel, Point to Point
and Pixel to Pixel, in the period between 2007 and 2017.
