RESUMO:
Sustainable Development - SD has been placed, in specific Literature, as the central idea that mankind's ambitions can meet current needs without compromising the possibility of future generations. However, according to Gudynas and Acosta (2012), this was an idea that could not stand up. In order to move to sustainable development, radical changes in thinking and the prevailing idea of development must be admitted. These conceptions began to be constructed in some countries and movements in Latin America, known as Well Living or Sumak kawsay. In the same line of thought, international bodies, such as the International Fund for Agricultural Development - IFAD, an international financial institution and a specialized agency of the United Nations. Its mission is to work to ensure that the most marginalized groups, such as indigenous and quilombo communities, based on land reform, women and young people benefit from their projects (ONUBR, 2019). In Ceará, in the last decades of the partnership with IFAD, there have been proposals for changes that have presented themselves as ways to transform civilization, or at least theoretically proposed to reverse the exclusionary logic of public policies, especially actions in rural areas. The Government of the State of Ceará created, in 2015, the Production and Capacity Development Project - Paulo Freire Project. The present research proposal seeks to deepen clarification on how the process of construction of the Paulo Freire Project in the territory of Cariri is taking place and what relations can be established with the principles of Good Living. The Paulo Freire Project is currently implemented in 31 municipalities, stratified in six territories - Cariri, Sertão dos Inhamuns, Sertão dos Crateús, Sertão de Sobral, Serra da Ibiapaba and West Coast / Curu Valley. The focus of study is the cities of Nova Olinda and Campos Sales. The justification for the reduction of these two cities is due to the volume of beneficiaries and financial investments. There are currently 941 families accompanied by the PPF in these two cities, in 31 communities, totaling 1217 people directly involved. Structured interviews will be used to be applied to community representatives, applied in a survey, asking people about their perceptions about the implemented actions, based on the key concepts of the principles of Good Living.
