RESUMO:

This dissertation intends to analyze the relationships established between the practices of the quilombola community of Sítio Arruda, located in Araripe, Ceará, and which are advocated as principles of Good Living. Therefore, a dissertation consists of 3 (three) articles that have as specific objectives: i-) to discuss, a historical and theoretical perspective, or a community council of Quilombola; ii-) compose the historiography of the Quilombola Community of Sítio Arruda and iii-) identify the practices of the Quilombola Community of Sítio Arruda and its relations as principles of Good Living. Without an initial article, and through a bibliographical review on or subject, it is intended as an object of investigation to delimit the concept of quilombola community from its origin in the African territory, its insertion in the Brazilian reality and, finally, with. Ceará state approach, more specifically, to the Cariri region of Ceará, approaching a specific quilombola community, or Sítio Arruda. The second article aims to carry out a socio-anthropological characterization of the Quilombola Community of Sítio Arruda. From a literature review, and from a historical perspective, it was possible to identify the primary elements of the community's social organization. The contemporary aspects of the community's social life are also highlighted, showing their potential and the challenges faced with a focus on gender relations, highlighting, mainly, the non-local female role. Therefore, the third-party article intends, based on a literature review on the subject and the analysis of a series of documents available on the YouTube platform, to demonstrate that two conceptualized principles such as Bem Viver are present for us in the speeches of two residents of Sítio Arruda quilombola community, with the appreciation of agricultural practice; or rational use of water; the valorization of two women's knowledge and two years; defending gives identity; a relationship of complementarity between human beings and Nature; the appreciation of the reciprocity of work as a factor for the growth of the community. In general, this presentation aims to contribute to the visibility of quilombola communities in the state of Ceará by valuing the achievements of the quilombola community in Sítio Arruda.
