RESUMO:

The quilombos are formed by ethnic-racial groups known throughout Brazil for having been one of the means of resistance to the system of slavery, places that have become a space of life, cultural expression and affection. These localities do not yet have a total liberality that includes fundamental rights such as access to land, water, quality education, public safety and health, which slows their development, compromising the quality of life of these people, putting the black population even more at risk due to lack of care. Lately Social Technologies (ST) have been widespread in quilombola communities, making room for solutions to problems that affect the dignity of people and the environment, presenting itself as an important tool of social inclusion and also as a sustainable development strategy. This work aims to identify the economic and social influence on the lives of women benefited from the Quilombolas Women Project and its Productive Backyards, in the Quilombola de Sousa community in the municipality of Porteiras Ceará. Through two social technologies cisterns Hat of Father Cicero and family biowater, implemented by the Christian Association of Christian base ACB. To achieve the main objective of this study, it is necessary a bibliographic survey of quilombola issues with emphasis on the territory of Cariri Cearense, as well as literary review of social technologies implemented in the developed project, field research and analysis of questionnaires, one before the implementation of technology and another with it already in use, the same will be answered individually by the 17 women benefited.
