RESUMO: The objective of this study is to analyze a process of agroecological territorialization experienced by the Solidarity Economy and Rural Tourism Group of Family Agriculture - GESTRAF, in the municipality of Barbalha / CE, identifying the articulations between sustainable rural development, agroecology and solidarity economy. For that, an exploratory and descriptive methodology was used, with a qualitative nature, based on a case study, using interviews, documentary research and participant observation. Through the declarations given by the farmers about the production system, the Agroecological Index was applied to show the composition of a set of characteristics inherent to the agricultural activity, which facilitated the farmer's position in the development of a sustainable agriculture, allowing evaluate your production profile. The results indicate that the alignment between agroecology and solidarity economy, within the scope of family agriculture, allows the strengthening of the territorialization process, favoring sustainable rural development in its multidimensionality.
