RESUMO:

One of the first measures, in mid-2020, was the immediate suspension of face-to-face activities in educational institutions spread across various parts of the world as a way of maintaining social distance and preventing the spread of the virus, as soon as the public health emergency broke out. due to the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19). In view of the decree of the new ordinances of the Ministry of Education and Health, there was an orientation and at the same time permission, in the sense that educational institutions throughout the country, use remote methodologies to continue the school year. Among the transformation segments, education needed to adapt radically to these resources. This reality demanded from education professionals skills that until then were not mandatory, because even those who did not work with Digital Technologies of Information and Communication (TDIC) started to use them. In this sense, the objective of the present study is to understand how teachers acted to make remote teaching feasible in the Crajubar region of Ceará, in 2020, during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, according to the methodological criteria, our research is of an explanatory nature of the mixed type (SAMPIERI, 2010). The path taken in the search for data and information consisted of bibliographical, documentary research and application of online questionnaires elaborated in a form on Google Forms. The instrument was applied to teachers working in the classroom, from public and private schools, covering educational institutions, located in the municipalities of Juazeiro do Norte and Crato, from early childhood education to higher education and with the participation of 62 teachers. of the sample of 434. It was possible to verify, therefore, that the teachers are not fully qualified and prepared to teach remote quality classes, in face of the inherent difficulties such as the low experience of handling equipment and digital technologies and the low quality of access to the internet environment. It also exposed the impacts on students' learning and confirmed the traditional absence of family interaction as support in educational processes.
