PUBLIC HOUSING POLICIES: ANALYSIS OF THE MY HOUSE MY LIFE PROGRAM IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CONCEPT OF WELL LIVING

The concern with the housing issue in Brazil is notable. Thus, public housing policies originated from the need for social alternatives that guarantee the quality of life for human beings. The PMCMV was launched in 2009 by the federal government with the aim of guaranteeing affordable housing. The locations of this program bring together mainly families who need opportunities and better coexistence in society. Bem Viver is defined as the construction of a society of coexistence in harmony, based on existing cultures. This work presented as a general objective to analyze the Minha Casa Minha Vida Program in the settlements of the municipalities of Juazeiro do Norte and Crato, state of Ceará. The methodology adopted to carry out the study consists of a qualitative and quantitative approach, in which a search for information of an objective and subjective nature is carried out, carrying out a study survey of primary data in the municipalities. Although the beneficiaries of the housing estates studied stated that they feel safe in relation to housing, the work showed the need and the desire for government investments in food rights, drinking water, communication, education, housing, health and basic sanitation, right of all. As a positive factor, the good coexistence of residents was observed. It is notable that in relation to Bem Viver, the housing project acts directly on the individual's living conditions and on strengthening community relations.
