The theme of sustainability is, at the end of the 20th century, a highlight for reflection from the perspective of the dimensions of development and of the possible alternatives that are evident to guarantee social equity and to articulate the relationships between individuals and a balanced environment The concept of sustainable development emerges as an idea of integration to qualify the need to think about another form of development. The general objective of this research was to identify the humanization process during prenatal consultations, as well as its relations with the social dimension of sustainability, taking as a locus the experiences of pregnant women in the actions of a Family Health Strategy (FHS), in city of Crato-CE. This study focused on the Social Dimension of Sustainability. The research was exploratory, using a qualitative approach. Descriptive and explanatory research was also used. The research subjects were ten women, users of the Unified Health System-SUS. As inclusion criteria, it was admitted: women who underwent prenatal care, from January to November 2019, of Habitual Risk, with a number of prenatal consultations greater than 6 (six) and who agreed to participate in the study. study. As exclusion criteria, women who refuse to participate in the research, pregnant women under 18 years old, those who were in the first trimester of pregnancy and those who had less than six prenatal consultations. The research was presented to the participants, their methods and objectives, through the presentation of the Free and Informed Consent Form. The data collection instrument was a semi-structured interview. Data were collected through meetings previously scheduled and recorded. For data analysis, Bardin's Thematic Analysis technique was used, which implies the identification of the nuclei of meaning contained in the communication. The age range ranged from 19 to 29 years. Access to prenatal care was effective, where 100% of women reported that they had no difficulty accessing consultations. The testimonies described in our study point to a quantity of 100% of participants satisfied with the quality of care offered in prenatal consultations at an FHS in the city of Crato-CE. The study made it possible to identify relevant points, which mostly send us a positive criticism about humanization in the usual risk prenatal consultations at the ESF in the Seminário neighborhood, in Crato-CE.
