SUMMARY:

This research intends to think about the possibilities of teaching philosophy at the secondary level in Cariri, so that the method for this teaching is authentic to philosophy and is also justified in it. To this end, this work used bibliographical reviews based on the concept of “geophilosophy” that appears in the works of philosophers Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, as well as the work “Walking, a philosophy” by Frédéric Gros. The works of thinkers Silvio Gallo and Alejandro Cerletti were also used. The research explored other philosophical texts and deterritorialized itself, meeting other non-philosophical creations. From the analysis of the concepts and ideas discussed during the bibliographical reviews, it was possible to verify that philosophy is the creation of concepts, therefore, what makes philosophy teaching authentic is teaching how to create concepts. These creations arise from certain problems that are forced on us through signs. However, one cannot truly predict which signs incite certain concepts. What the philosophy teacher can do is give his students access to signs that can encourage philosophical thought (such as texts, figures, films, etc.). From Gros' work, it is clear that territory is one of the elements that drive conceptual creation. In this way, the territory comes to be understood as a sign-element used by the philosophy teacher to encourage philosophical creation. Cariri is a territory located in the south of the state of Ceará. This place brings several elements that consolidate it as a space for artistic, cultural, historical, geographic creation, etc. Among the creations that Cariri makes possible, concepts are one of them. In this sense, the territory of Cariri can be thought of as a place that instigates concepts, therefore, a place with possibilities for teaching philosophy. The research concludes so far that one of the possibilities of teaching philosophy at the secondary level in Cariri, so that this teaching is authentic to philosophy, and that it is justified in it, is for the teacher to travel with his students to the different places in Cariri, meeting signs that encourage the creation of concepts, and therefore, enable high school students to experience philosophical thinking.
