This is a master's thesis that rescues the history and photography of Antonio Fiuza de Lima, photographer and master builder who built and photographed a large part of the material heritage (public buildings and residences) in the city of Campos Sales, in Ceará, in a period when photography still had little access to the population. With its analogue equipment, Master Fiuza produced a collection that today can be seen as the guardian of the city's memory. This paper is characterized as exploratory-descriptive, with a qualitative approach, carried out through a bibliographical and, above all, documental survey, considering that the photographic collection is the main focus of the investigation. An attempt was made to produce a digital album with photos of Seu Fiuza's personal collection and part of his history, to be made available in schools and in the Municipal Library of the city of Campos Sales. In the documentary research, it was found that there is a huge amount of photographs by Fiuza outside the custody of his family. Some were donated by him for school work and others make up many family albums of the city's inhabitants. Therefore, there was a need to make a cut for the construction of the digital album, in which an album from his personal collection was selected, which contained several photographs of buildings built by him. It was concluded that Seu Fiuza's photographs are fundamental documents for the memory of the city of Campos Sales, since his photographic collection recorded a time in the city that, without his photography, would have remained in obscurity. The need for further research was also highlighted so that the memorialistic role of his legacy can be recognized from different perspectives, with the present research being a starting point for this recognition.
