SUMMARY:

The present project deals with the implementation of the Social Security Reform of the Social Security System of the Municipality of Juazeiro do Norte - CE, regarding the need to disseminate information as a basis for elucidating to its policyholders and beneficiaries the changes provided for in Constitutional Amendment nº 103/ 2019, so that they understand and consciously answer the 'why' they need changes in their Pension Plan. Thus, this research has the general objective of analyzing the need to disseminate information for policyholders and beneficiaries of the RPPS in Juazeiro do Norte - CE in the process of approving a Social Security Reform. As for the specific objectives, they are: to describe the main changes that occurred in the social security legislation, from EC nº 103/2019, pointing out the new retirement rules; to map the main doubts of the municipal servants regarding the necessary changes in the social security legislation; and, design a course for municipal employees with the necessary information to understand the new changes in social security legislation. With regard to methodology, descriptive research will be used, with a qualitative approach, and it was decided to carry out a bibliographical and documentary research, which will expand knowledge about the social security theme. The research subjects will be active and inactive RPPS policyholders in Juazeiro do Norte – CE, as well as a representative of the Municipality. The data collection instrument will be the questionnaire, with open and closed questions, which will be forwarded by Google Forms, in order to achieve the desired objectives. As for the ethical aspects, the research proposal will be informed to the respondents, through the term of free and informed consent. After collecting and analyzing the data, it is intended to elucidate the informational needs of the users and to elaborate a course to resolve the questions concerning the need for social security reform for the municipality of Juazeiro do Norte-CE.
