It aims to research within the Organization and Information Representation the particularities focused specifically on the Classification of works of erotic content. In his theoretical course, he tells a brief history of classification and its importance for library science, deals with the definition and characteristics of classification, and explains the points arising from erotic literature and how it is viewed by scholars and lay people. Its general objective is: To propose an indicative bibliographic classification table for works of erotic literature and as specific objectives: To identify the characteristics that define erotic literature; Discuss the informational ethics in the processes of organization and representation of information and identify how the works are classified by the public higher education institutions (IPES) of the State of Ceará. To achieve the objectives will be used the dialectical method for discussion of facts and understanding of the subjects addressed in the research, which has an exploratory character because it understands the organization and representation from classification systems, with a study based on the ethics of the processes of representation of information, which involves the classification of works of erotic content, the bibliographic research and the survey of works classified in databases of public universities of Ceará of free access will be used for the clarification and appearance of hypotheses and relevant questions. . As an analysis, it will seek to identify how works are classified by IPES and will propose as final product an indicative table for the classification of works, based on the CDD and CDU Codes and the TV Indicative Table, developed by the Ministry of Justice, with the intention of drawing guidelines to help it. at the time of classification of these works.
