Religions of African origin have historically suffered from violence due to the practices of religious racism and religious intolerance in order to guarantee the subordination of black populations who were enslaved and saw their religious practices as a memory of mother Africa. The research has the general objective of analyzing how the Spiritist Tent of Umbanda Star Dalva preserves the memory of the African-based religion in Piauí society. And as for the specific objectives, they are: mapping the informational supports of the Tenda Star Dalva collection; identify the knowledge and actions produced in Tenda; Write the narrative of my journey as a daughter of Tenda and create a photographic catalog as an informational product to preserve the memory of the Terreiro da Tenda Star Dalva. The development of the research is justified by the importance of contributing to scientific production when it comes to collections that represent the memory of the black population based on the practices of African-based religion in Librarianship. To achieve the objectives described, we will have as methodological procedures documentary research, the writing method, the selection of photos and their description for the development of the catalog and the creation and dissemination of this informational product. It is considered that studies on Umbanda and its memory based on my trajectory in Tenda and what I identified regarding the construction of the Umbanda terreiro, this represents the memory of the black population who, through their colonization, managed to resist and re-emerge as protagonists of their lives cared for on the ground of the terreiro.

The communication between professionals in university libraries and deaf users is a challenge that can be overcome through the development of resources that facilitate the understanding of the terms used in these spaces. In this context, this study conducts a qualitative research, of a bibliographic and documentary nature, conducted in the city of Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará. It is relevant to mention that, due to its bibliographic nature, the research was not submitted to the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The main objective is to create a set of resources that include the key terms used in university libraries, along with their respective translations into Brazilian Sign Language (Libras). The research was based on the analysis of scientific articles, books, manuals, and other documents related to the topic. The results indicated the existence of a wide variety of specific terms used in university libraries, which can be challenging for understanding by deaf users, necessitating the creation of tools that support the informational and communication process for deaf users.

The school plays a crucial role in the preparatory process of the human being, leading the individual to his autonomy and coexistence in society. Having also, the school libraries, as auxiliaries in this process, offering pedagogical resources for educational construction of their learning, within a space accessible to all students with or without disabilities. Are the libraries of the state public schools of the municipality of Mauriti accessible? The research aims to verify the accessibility practices in the libraries of state schools in the municipality of Mauriti, Ceará. It is known that the development of inclusion in the school environment is a public policy, which should be stimulated, ensuring the maintenance of its continuity and progress. However, it is necessary to ascertain the progress of the development and use of the means of inclusion and accessibility in the libraries of the public schools of the state education network of the municipality of Mauriti, in accordance with the statute of the person with disabilities and NBR 9050/2020. Evaluate the practice of library accessibility standards, diagnosing the service of the current management, regarding the capacity in attendance and the use of strategic and pedagogical plans and develop a booklet to support the management of libraries, on the informational services accessible to libraries. Considering the accessibility indicators on the architectural aspects related to the school library, we have as basic and primordial: entrance, internal spaces, floors, corridors. On the other hand, the accessibility indicators, regarding the instrumental aspects, we have as basic and with greater value of importance: the counters, tables for use in work, reading and/or study and the height of the shelves. It is considered to obtain results for subsequent construction of recommendations in order to improve the space under study.

With the advancement of science and technology, amid the worsening of global problems and challenges, information emerges as a strategic and fundamental resource. Faced with this new scenario, which considers the current stage of human knowledge as the Information Society, the field of information and communication was, without a doubt, one of the most impacted. Therefore, the information management models that were being adopted, based on the custodial, patrimonial and technicalist paradigm, are no longer able to meet current demands. In this context, the concept of information is renewed and studies and debates emerge around the concept of mediation, which lay the foundations for new ways of using, producing, sharing and mastering information. The concept of mediation can make an important contribution to information and communication science, as well as to librarianship and professionals who work in libraries, as its application in this field necessarily leads to new reflections on procedures, practices and use of information. In view of this, libraries, called Multimedia Centers within the scope of state schools in Ceará, are seen as fundamental institutions for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contained in the 2030 Agenda, an important document published by the United Nations (UN). ), in which access to information is recognized as a right for everyone. The present research has the general objective of investigating the reality of Multimedia Centers in state schools covered by the Regional Coordination of Education Development - CREDE 19, with a view to developing a proposal for Continuing Teacher Training based on new concepts and the perspective of Agenda 2030. Data collection in schools took place through the application of a semi-structured questionnaire, direct observation in the Multimedia Rooms and interviews with some teachers. The data obtained through bibliographic and field research were systematized and analyzed, adopting a qualitative approach. It is hoped that this research can contribute to changing the current reality of Multimedia Centers in our schools, making them more participatory and protagonists, based on the recognition of their pedagogical role in the school curriculum.

Reading is present in several practices in our daily lives, becoming, therefore, an access route to sociopolitical activity. Therefore, reading practice has the potential to awaken critical sense in others while enabling them to resolve conflicts. However, contact with textual productions alone cannot reach all the dimensions necessary for the formation of critical-reflective readers; rather, a set of mediating actions is necessary that stimulate the student's desire to seek knowledge from of the act of reading. In this sense, the problem of the study raises the following question as a central question: how are reading mediation practices developed in Full-Time Schools in the city of Crato? Therefore, the general objective is to: investigate reading mediation practices developed in the school context, aiming to develop a guide as an informational support tool for the ETIs in Crato. The specific objectives are: to present the conceptual aspects, approaches and reflections on reading and reading mediation; verify teachers‟ perception regarding reading mediation in the school environment; reflect on participant observation in the daily life of full-time schools to create the reading mediation guide. The methodological approach started from a bibliographical review on the topic, followed by participant observation and semi-structured interviews as data collection mechanisms that allowed analyzing the context of reading mediation practices. As for the theoretical-methodological foundation, it was anchored in the interactive reading perspective, according to Solé (2014), focusing on reading strategies and theoretical aspects of Reading Mediation with Bortolin (2006) and Silva (2015). In this context, the research allowed us to verify that the reading mediation practices developed in the Crato ETI still need to be rethought, since, in some moments observed, the activities were being conducted from a traditional view of reading as a mere decoding of codes, without turning their attention to the critical and social formation of students. On the other hand, it is also essential to highlight that, when there are professionals who seek to develop a different proposal from an interactive perspective, they encounter obstacles in the school structure, from the lack of environments that provide reading activities, as in the case of school libraries , even the lack of essential materials for teaching practice, such as reams and toner. From this scenario, therefore, the need to develop practical material for the daily lives of teachers was observed, since, in the semi-structured interviews, the lack of guidelines and practical proposals to be applied in the teaching and learning process was highlighted. of reading. To this end, a Reading Mediation Guide was created, which is divided into conceptual approaches and practical approaches, or rather, initially, it contextualizes the term reading and reading mediation through an interactive bias, thus creating a bridge so that, in the secondly, it presents examples of mediation strategies from the reading circle, the soirée, the reading group, among others. Recognizing that reading is consolidated as an instrument of memory and conquest and expansion of citizenship by enabling contributions to the formation of different subjects and social groups, activities with oral and written productions that work on the life experiences of an individual and a society.

This research deals with the importance of human resources management as a strategic differential within the libraries of the Federal University of Cariri - UFCA. The question is: how do the elements of strategic human resources management, such as human capital management, culture and organizational climate, contribute to the implementation of quality services in the UFCA libraries? The general objective of this research is to diagnose the strategic human resources management factors for good performance at the UFCA libraries, and the specific objectives are to discuss strategic human resources management in information units; and to create a guide based on the strategic management studies of these libraries to provide better support and guidance for management practices. As far as methodological procedures are concerned, the research is characterized as descriptive-exploratory; as far as means are concerned, it is qualitative bibliographical research, where field research was used. A questionnaire made available via Google Forms was used as the data collection instrument. The data obtained in the questionnaire was satisfactory for the study, but it is important to monitor the quality and services of the UFCA libraries, as well as assessing whether they are appropriate to the demands and needs of students and researchers. The product of this research is a practical guide that provides suggestions for improving library services. It is hoped that the product of this master's research will directly help librarians, assistants and staff in general who work in the library. The conclusion is that the UFCA library network still has many points for improvement, but that it is carrying out its activities satisfactorily and is always seeking to improve its administrative development in order to meet the demands of its users.

It deals with the principles of Information Architecture (IA) based on knowledge management in order to develop an information structure with the Wiki tool. Its general objective is to analyze, based on IA, the Wiki tool for Knowledge Management based on Batista's Model (2012), in order to evaluate the services offered by the Information Technology Directorate (DTI) of the Federal University of Cariri (UFCA). Its specific objectives are: a) to identify the theoretical principles of Knowledge Management, considering its models and practices; and to identify the theoretical concepts of IA in order to structure its subsystems in the DTI/UFCA Wiki Tool; b) to describe the main services and demands of the DTI/UFCA that can be dealt with collaboratively using a Wiki Tool; c) to propose a guide for using a DTI Wiki Tool in order to help manage the main services dealt with by the DTI/UFCA. The research will be based on descriptive and exploratory research, carried out through bibliographical, documentary and case study research, in order to investigate the usage of the Wiki tool. It is qualitative in nature, aiming to understand the consequences of implementing the Wiki tool for the UFCA academic community, especially the DTI/UFCA. For data collection, a combination of observational research was used as a way of increasing the effectiveness and reliability of the results and promoting interaction between the sector and the researcher, since collaborative action is proposed. Documentary analysis was used to analyze the data, which is a procedure that uses methods and techniques to apprehend, analyze and understand documents of all kinds. The importance of the research is demonstrated by the growing need for institutions that deal with research to have efficient knowledge management systems, thus contributing to the systematization and dissemination of information through intersectoral actions. The use of a Wiki tool has the potential to support the DTI's UFCA KM, using IA systems to help structure and present the knowledge generated by the administrative unit. It was possible to identify potential improvements to the wiki's navigation and search systems, as well as suggesting clearer and more intuitive labeling that could make the platform more functional and accessible. In addition, the research highlighted the importance of KM practices in capturing and organizing tacit and explicit knowledge, promoting its reuse in the institutional environment. It concludes by considering that the proposed product has the potential to support and train the academic community to use the UFCA Wiki to support KM at UFCA.

Information management is present in the most varied areas of knowledge, offering support to managers
in organizations so that they can effectively manage their decision-making processes. It is essential that an
organization carry out information management with established roots in the search for improvement and
updating of its processes with regard to: treating, organizing, managing, retrieving and making available
information in a way that its use meets the informational needs of its internal and external members. What
proposals can be made in order to contribute in the field of information management in a retail company
of automotive parts and services in Cariri Cearense? Information within a for-profit organization becomes
a strategic tool in a competitive market scenario, and it is thinking about information management to help
decision-making processes that the present study had as its general objective: to elaborate proposals for
information management from a corporate intervention plan so that it can contribute in the field of
information management. For the methodological path, bibliographic research is adopted, with a
dialectical approach studying the phenomena about information management. The study is exploratory
and descriptive in nature, using resources from documentary and field research carried out to characterize
the research field, which is the company Alfa, belonging to the retail trade of automotive parts and
services in Cariri Cearense. Since trade in companies of this segment is common in the region, as they
have several parts stores for automotive vehicles, as well as dealerships, grinders and mechanical
workshops in the figure of self-employed professionals, medium and small companies to serve both
private vehicles and industrial fleets and other companies that move the region. To meet the main
objective of the research, a questionnaire arranged between open and closed questions was used as a
method for the study, answered both by the company's managers: the administrator and the manager and
by those responsible for each sector in order to understand how they describe the questions made,
representing a total of nine respondents. The study resulted in a proposal for a corporate intervention plan
to contribute to the company's information management through improvements in its information
management processes. It is concluded that the company has the means and instruments to make its flow
of information more organized and dynamic, but it needs to follow more efficient processes with a more
objective and level language between managers and employees. In this way, the company will be able to
reach the essence of information, which is to be utilized by users, better elaborating their decision-making
processes and producing more results. It is also suggested for future research that the informational flow
of companies of this type with so many processes and sectors involved be traced, and that it serve as
models for companies of the same segment.

Cataloging, beyond the library environment and the descriptive representation of bibliographic materials, as traditionally done with books, can be performed in different types of informational resources, in the most diverse media, following description standards that aim the sharing, cooperation and retrieval of these materials. The present research has as its theme the cataloguing of textile flags of fabrics, a theme little explored in the studies of Librarianship, but which is commonly used in the textiles of the Fashion Design Courses. For the development of the research, the general objective is to identify the requirements, norms and standards for the representation and description of textile flags in textiles libraries and to achieve it, the specific objectives are To evidence the importance of the techniques of organization and representation of information in teak libraries for the area of knowledge of Fashion Design; to verify which data are necessary for the representation of textile flags and how these are described by the norms and rules of cataloging; and, to structure a manual of guidelines for the cataloging of textile flags of the teak library of the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI). It is configured as applied research, with qualitative approach and as for the objectives is exploratory-descriptive, because it is a theme that requires a thematic deepening and from this will be identified and described the guidelines for cataloging the textile flags, according to the norms of representation of the Anglo American Cataloging Rules - 2nd edition (AACR2) and the Resource Description and Access (RDA), as well as the fields of the Machine Readable Cataloging 21 (Marc21), for cataloging the fabric samples. The research approaches the Organization and Representation of Information and Knowledge, identifying where descriptive representation fits in and highlights the trajectory of cataloging and its instruments; After that, the history of Fashion is analyzed, from the point of view of Moscovici's Social Representations (2003), a brief chapter is developed about the classification of fabrics and then the importance of the textiles for the Fashion courses was exposed, and the last two chapters point out how the cataloging is done in each of the cited instruments, one in a general way, bringing the norms, areas, fields and subfields that should be filled out to catalog the textile flags according to AACR2, Marc21 and RDA, and the other transfiguring them to the textile flags of the UFPI's teak library. Finally, it was found the existence of specific cataloging methods for clothing and could be applied to textiles, because the AACR2 has rules for cataloging clothing - three-dimensional object - that can be adapted to MARC21 from the filling of fields and subfields compatible, consequently, to the RDA also, based on the guidelines of this instrument. This makes possible the standardization of the descriptive representation of textile flags and the elaboration of the Manual of Cataloging of Textiles.

It refers to a research about the production of a manual with the title: proposal for an e-book editorial process for the Federal University of Cariri (UFCA). Thus, this present study was based on the following problem: How to develop an instrument to support the editorial processes of e-books for UFCA? What are the processes used in publishing digital publications in federal university presses? In the conception for the development of the manual containing examples of the dissemination of the construction of knowledge in the university. That said, the general objective is to develop a manual describing the editorial processes of e-books for UFCA, highlighting the role of the librarian-editor in editorial management. To this end, the following specific objectives were outlined: a) to reflect on the theoretical-conceptual perspectives regarding the origin of university presses, the role of the librarian-editor; b) mapping the main editorial processes of federal university presses in the production of e-books; c) develop the manual with the ideal editorial processes for publishing e-books at UFCA. The methodological route followed the deductive method, with an exploratory and descriptive purpose, presenting itself with bibliographic and documental procedures, the approach to the problem will be quali-quantitative of an applied nature. As for the theoretical framework, it demonstrated the origins and the way in which the evolution of university presses in Brazil followed, the overview of the development of e-books and the role of the librarian-editor. While in the analysis and discussion of the research results on the publishers' websites, the format for adapting digital publications was traced, during the analysis it was observed which policies were found to guarantee which content to publish, as well as the availability of finding the editorial policy which was not available in part of the analyzed ones, while the editorial team, in order to understand the function of each one, attributed the contribution of the Associação Brasileira das Editoras Universitárias (ABEU), as it can only be a university publisher if there is an association. Finally, in the final considerations, the structure of the manual was organized, which will contemplate the dissemination of scientific knowledge at the university, based on the proposal for the publication process in e-books, boosting reading for the academic environment.

This research will develop an analysis of digital tools that enable the development of Teacher Digital Competence (TDC) that focuses on the Information Professional (IP) who leads the Educational Information Environments (EIE) of Youth and Adult Education (YAE). In this regard, the following guiding question will be considered: from the immersion in Cyberculture, How Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT) can diagnose and favor the development of the DC to the YAE's IP? Therefore, the general objective is to make feasible, to the YAE's IP, guidelines in the light of Cyberculture for the development of TDC. Specifically, it is also considered: a) to characterize digital competence in instances: information and teaching; b) to specify YAE, based on epistemological, structural, managerial and social parameters; c) to map DICTs that have as scope the development of the TDC and d) to structure an orientation manual for the use of DICT that provide the development of the TDC. To constitute its theoretical basis, the conceptions about Cyberculture, the role of PI in the context of digital culture, the implications of TDC in terms of teacher training and the info-educational reflexes mediated in EIE in YAE will be discussed. The methodological route will adopt a positivist epistemological stance from the inductive method and applied nature that will be presented: regarding the approach it will be developed as quali-quantitative, regarding the objectives it will be outlined in exploratory and descriptive, regarding the procedures it will be bibliographical and documental. Regarding the collection and analysis of data, the Content Analysis technique (BARDIN 2016) will be used, supported by the P.V.O search strategy (BIRUEL; PINTO, 2011) and guided by the inductive method (BACON, 1999). Finally, the outcome of this process is proposed to be the structuring of an e-book manual with guidelines to facilitate the analysis and development of the TDC.

The library as a space for social inclusion with regard to information, where the user can access and acquire knowledge, it is necessary that this information is accessible to all, enabling people with disabilities to use its information services. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a research that contemplates the basic requirements for spaces like this to have accessibility for its deaf users, at the same time showing the peculiarities of this public and knowing a little more about the culture and its language. In this objective, this research seeks to present how the library can be more dynamic in the life of the deaf student within the university. The problem question to be answered is presented as follows: How is it possible to build a product that includes the poems of Patativa do Assaré in the context of Signwriting applied to the university library of the Federal University of Cariri - Campus Juazeiro do Norte? The research has as general objective: the construction of a virtual product that standardizes the use of sign language through a manual applied to the library. And the specific objectives were listed as follows: Discuss the works of Patativa do Assaré in the context of Signwriting; identify with the library works by Patativa do Assaré; understand the possible contextualizations between Signwriting and the works of Patativa do Assaré; propose a standardization that offers a written translation of signs; guide users to effective use in care for the deaf and disseminate the idea among the deaf community. The methodology is established as a bibliographic research with an inductive method and a qualitative approach. The technique used was through a focal interview with the students of the Language and Libras course of the 6th semester at the Federal University of Cariri, composed of deaf and hearing people, and the application of a questionnaire with the same group. As for the purposes of this research, it is characterized as exploratory and descriptive. The library as an informational space needs to adapt to an inclusive service, thinking about this, a manual was prepared with the translation of poems by Patativa do Assaré for the written record of the sign language that is Signwriting, a manual that will bring greater autonomy in the reading of the works of this author so important to our local culture.

It presents the Information and Digital Competencies in the faculty training in the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Courses of the UPE Campus Petrolina, based on a theoretical framework with evolutionary aspects of the university library as a learning environment and concepts of Digital Competence, Information Competence and Information and Digital Competence, in addition to mentioning the role of the librarian in the practices of development of Information and Digital Competence. In general, it investigates the needs of Informational and Digital Competencies of the teachers of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Courses of the UPE Campus Petrolina to support academic activities, aiming at the proposition of presenting a training program for teacher training, and specifically aiming at raising the characteristics of contemporary university libraries; To identify the fundamentals about Digital Competencies and their application capabilities; to know the profile of the professors of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Courses in the areas of Education, Health and Environment, regarding their formation related to Information and Digital Competencies; and to propose a guide for the development of a training program on Information and Digital Competencies to support the formation of teachers of the Postgraduate Courses of the institution. The research methodology is descriptive, bibliographic and case study, based on a qualitative approach, using a questionnaire with a plural script of open, closed and multiple choice questions as a data collection instrument. The inductive (by the researcher) and deductive (by statistics) analysis methods are used for data analysis and interpretation. It is expected that this research contributes to the continuity of discussions that permeate the promotion of educational actions by Brazilian university libraries, especially the practices of training on the development of Information and Digital Skills of university faculty.

It is notorious that in recent years the publicization of academic and scientific data has been considerable. This aspect means that those who have access to these data can analyze and reflect on the way they are disseminated, including in this list of professional analysis the technical knowledge, especially in the area of standardization. It is important to emphasize the existence of imprecision in organizational instruments, such as the preparation and publication of institutional manuals, leading to reflection on how some institutions disseminate this process in the wrong way, thus inducing students and/or researchers to make mistakes. The research has as its guiding question: How are the rules established in the Brazilian norms of ABNT for academic works being disseminated in the normalization manuals of higher education institutions in João Pessoa/PB? Thus, the dissertation in focus has as its general objective to analyze the accuracy of the content of the normalization manuals of higher education institutions in the city of João Pessoa/PB in accordance with the ABNT norms for academic works. Methodologically, the study is characterized as an exploratory-descriptive research of bibliographic and documental nature, with qualitative analysis. With the accomplishment of the research it was concluded that there is imprecision in the organizational documents to which it had access, where the perceived errors concern the basic instructions, bringing general suggestions from the wider standardizing organisms. This mistaken information, besides bringing damage to the local community, i.e., to researchers and students who, due to institutional requirements, use these manuals for standardization and presentation of these works to obtain titles, when used in broader contexts, for example, when accessed by external individuals who may consult such institutional guidelines for studies, to clear basic doubts, can promote the error even in more specialized users.

In today's information age, the way organizations are managed has been transformed, making data, information, and knowledge increasingly valuable in an information and knowledge society. In this context, knowledge management has been widely debated and implemented as a strategy for success in a competitive market. For this, it is essential that organizations develop a culture that promotes the effective management of knowledge and intelligence, since these factors directly influence the performance and ability to achieve strategic objectives. Thus, it is necessary to invest in practices that value the management of knowledge and intelligence, allowing the company to have a competitive edge. Given this, the study proposes to investigate how information units, specifically libraries, have managed knowledge and applied competitive intelligence strategies. To achieve this goal, the research will be exploratory and qualitative approach, carried out in the library system of the regional university of Cariri - Urca. A digital questionnaire will be applied, through Google forms, with the director and the librarian responsible for the central library and the university sector. The data collected will be organized and analyzed through content analysis, allowing to diagnose knowledge management in the context of the libraries studied and to draw a model applicable to any and all units of information that wish to manage knowledge as a valuable asset. Thus, the research seeks to understand how knowledge management occurs and the use of competitive intelligence strategies by information units, identifying existing processes and proposing a manual of practices in knowledge management. With this, it is expected to contribute to the improvement of the processes and services of the information units and to the development of an environment of knowledge and competitive intelligence in the academic and business sphere.

The present study deals with the implementation of the Social Security Reform of the Social Security System of the Municipality of Juazeiro do Norte - CE, regarding the importance of using information mediation to satisfy the informational needs of its insured persons and beneficiaries in the process of adapting the legislation municipal to Constitutional Amendment nº 103/2019, to facilitate the appropriation of information and awareness by these subjects about the changes that will occur after the approval of this new legislation. Thus, this research had the general objective of analyzing the need for mediation of information for policyholders and beneficiaries of the RPPS in Juazeiro do Norte in the process of approving a Social Security Reform. As for the specific objectives, there are: to describe the main changes that occurred in the social security legislation, from EC nº 103/2019, pointing out the new retirement rules; to map the main doubts of the municipal servants regarding the necessary changes in the social security legislation; and, develop a course for municipal employees with the necessary information to understand the new changes in social security legislation based on the mediation of information. With regard to methodology, descriptive research was used, with a qualitative approach, and it was decided to carry out a bibliographical and documental research. As a method for data analysis, two questionnaires were proposed, with questionnaire 1 directed to the insured and beneficiaries of the RPPS in Juazeiro do Norte and questionnaire 2 directed to a representative of the municipality, having as chosen the current manager of PREVIJUNO, all applied through the Google Forms application. Based on data analysis, it is evident that policyholders and beneficiaries of the RPPS in Juazeiro do Norte need to understand the changes that will occur with the approval of a new social security legislation, highlighting the importance of making information accessible and understandable, aiming at building knowledge and the appropriation of information, considering the mediation of information as a valuable resource in this process. The Final Product presented was a Course entitled “The Constitutional Amendment nº 103/2019: Updates on the new Retirement rules”, with the purpose of elucidating the informational needs of users and solving questions concerning the need for social security reform for this Municipality.

The scientific production has grown more and more over time, as has access to information, with setbacks arising, such as the growth of plagiarism and other attacks on copyright. The Brazilian legal system establishes the rights of authors over their creations and penalties for offenders. However, having an upstanding and honest academic environment is the responsibility of everyone, and it can incorporate suitable measures for this purpose, such as Information Literacy. Thus, this research proposes, in a general sense, to develop a theoretical and practical instrument for education in information literacy in light of legal aspects related to ethical and normative use of academic information. Therefore, it describes the contemporary ethical-informational context and the problems that affect the use and production of information in higher education, especially regarding copyright; identifies the consequences provided for in Brazilian legislation applicable to those who violate these prerogatives; understands the role of librarians and other academic professionals in developing information literacy, ethical use of information, and combating plagiarism. The research is exploratory and descriptive, combining bibliographic and documentary approaches, with a qualitative nature. The data analysis utilized the method of interpretation of meanings. Through the results, an informative booklet on copyright and related subjects for higher education institutions was developed as a product. In conclusion, besides the informational product presented, the importance of the topic and ongoing study in the area were also considered so that, due to technological advancements and legislative changes, new tools and actions may emerge and be suggested.

Showing the importance of the public library for communities is essential in this scenario where access to information is essential for the development of citizenship. This new look at social changes, how valuable the accessibility of information and knowledge is, favors improvements for both the individual and the collective. The relevance of the social role of the public library in this perspective and in the conjunction between information and knowledge is necessary and, for that, it is necessary to create mechanisms that favor its social participation. From this perspective, the UN Agenda 2030 brings important points that can contribute to this process, as it outlines actions aimed at the common good of society. From this perspective, the research guiding question arises: What are the cultural actions developed by CRAJUBAR public libraries? In this direction, the question is: How does the public library contribute to social development? What impacts do its actions bring to the community in which it operates? How are the cultural actions of CRAJUBAR public libraries contributing to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda? Thinking about these questions, this research appears with the intention of investigating the sociocultural activities developed in the public libraries of CRAJUBAR, through the mapping of the social projects developed, and verifying the contribution of these actions to the social growth of both the region and the library itself public.

In discussing cordel literature, we think of a literary, poetic and editorial genre that pulsates vibrantly in the heart of the Northeast. We recognize that it is present in the oral, written and digital media, besides being at the center of a discussion about cyberspace and digital media. Based on this assumption, this work concentrates on the discussion about the dissemination and preservation of pamphlet literature within the scope of the Memory and Information Science Laboratory (LACIM) of the Federal University of Cariri (UFCA) through the axes of Information Science and Literature.  In view of this, this research has the following question: what are the possibilities and challenges to achieve rapid access, free, effective and accessible to the collection of cordel in the Memory and Information Science Laboratory of UFCA in order to spread the cordel culture? We start, then, from the idea that a virtual environment can fill an existing gap at UFCA in relation to cordels, contributing to the dissemination and safeguarding of the collection of cordels at LACIM. Therefore, we have the general objective of developing a digital, public and free informational environment aiming the access, preservation and dissemination of cordels from the Laboratory of Information Science and Memory, spreading the culture of the Metropolitan Region of Cariri. For the specific objectives, we have three guiding points: a) promote the dissemination of cordels by different authors from LACIM's collection, contributing to its informational memory; b) spread the culture of cordel literature as cultural heritage in the Metropolitan Region of Cariri from the postgraduate in Librarianship; c) promote the dissemination of cordel artists from Cariri/Northeastern Brazil. The methodology path uses the following methods: bibliographic (source research), exploratory and descriptive, with a qualitative approach, besides being a case study, since the data was collected at LACIM in order to create a research product aimed at the Laboratory itself. In the theoretical referential, it was discussed about culture, digital memorial preservation, the transformations of the supports and the importance of Cordel literature and its poets. In the analysis of the proposed discussions, the result was that it is possible to disseminate and preserve LACIM's cordels through a free and accessible portal in the format of a Blog-collection, in which the cordels can be catalogued, referenced and with their summaries exposed on the site. The product resulting from this research is entitled 'CordeLacim', a virtual environment in blog format that serves as a collection of LACIM's cordels, preserving and maintaining them in cyberspace, contemplating the various knowledge and practices recommended in the extensive specialized literature on digital preservation and safeguarding of cultural documents. Finally, in the final considerations, we were able to understand that the cordel literature is posed as a Brazilian literary genre and that its preservation and the intercession of this poetic genre of singers/poets to the digital field of online connections is necessary, and that the different efforts of the Information and Memory labs are valid to spread this poetic genre that flourishes within the Brazilian Northeast.  

This research proposes to improve access to social security rights through the creation of a social security information service at the Municipal Social Security Fund for Civil Servants of Juazeiro do Norte (PREVIJUNO), in the State of Ceará, Brazil. With the aim of diagnosing the context in which PREVIJUNO operates – the foundation of the suggested service, it carries out descriptive research, of a qualitative nature, implemented in three investigative strategies: bibliographic, documentary and field. As results, it presents: a) the overview of the national social security information regime: presenting the main regulatory devices of the social security sector and specifically addressing public security: General Social Security Regime and the Social Security Own Regimes; b) municipal and institutional: describes the PREVIJUNO information regime, such as legislation, rules, services, infrastructure and the like; and c) the information demands perceived by the public (active and retired employees) of PREVIJUNO. Based on these results, PREVINFORMA is structured: which is the proposition of an Information Desk, corroborating the increase in knowledge about PREVIJUNO and the role that this Social Security Scheme has in the lives of municipal employees. Finally, it highlights the role of PREVIJUNO in promoting access to social security information, and that this must be improved by solutions – products and services – interdisciplinary with information disciplines – especially Library Science and Information Science.

The patriarchal-based society operates in various areas, consequently we observe the
silencing of female voices in various areas, among them, we have literature, which makes up the
library space. This research approaches the project Weaving Voices, which seeks to debate
works written by women and contains stories of women in the library space, here will be
addressed some main points of the project and experiences experienced in the same. The
relevance of this research takes place within the process of using the library as a living and
interactive concept with community members. With regard to the overall objective of this
research, we are based on analyzing how literary works produced by women and telling stories
of women, can act as a tool to foster discussions about female identity and memory in the library
space. Since in terms of literary creation, the feminine, in addition to assuming a role of speech,
can assume the role of intending patriarchal ties and limitations.

The sets of relationships between the Librarianship and Pedagogy courses in Cariri
Cearense constitute the theme of this research. Thus, the central question that underlies
the investigation is found in the following question: what are the possible relationships
that can be established between the Library Science courses at the Federal University
of Cariri - UFCA and Pedagogy at the Regional University of Cariri- URCA, aiming at
building an institutional product between the two areas? The general objective is
focused on investigating the areas of Library Science and Pedagogy, conceiving their
possible relations, aiming at the construction of a policy of action that potentiates the
dialogue and actions between the referred courses, in the scope of undergraduate and
graduate courses. The specific objectives are based on discussing the possible
relationships between librarianship and pedagogy, based on conceptual, curricular and
public policy issues; to identify the possible objects in common between both areas,
from a curricular perspective and finally to propose an integrated action policy. The 

theoretical body of the research discusses relational perspectives between Librarianship
and Pedagogy based on conceptual aspects and curricular issues, in addition to
addressing relations within the scope of public policies. The research has as object the
undergraduate courses in characterized as a case study, bibliographic, descriptive with
a qualitative approach. The procedures for data collection include the application of a
questionnaire and documentary research. For data interpretation, content analysis based
on categories, such as teaching, research, extension, management, events, professional
practices and institutional policies, is adopted. Therefore, it is expected to build a
product that contemplates in more detail the categories mentioned, with the purpose of
integrating the courses of Library Science at UFCA and Pedagogy of URCA, in the
scope of undergraduate and graduate courses.

This research seeks to record the history of the UFC/UFCA Librarianship Course - in
the Cariri Region, located in the city of Juazeiro do Norte / CE. Through a narrative of
the historical memory of the Librarianship Course, it rewrites the historical process
intertwining past and present, so that, later, it can dynamically contribute to the
activation of the memories of the new generations starting from a (re)configuration of
the institutional memory of the Librarianship Course. In view of this, part of the
following problem question: How can the gathering of memories, photos, news and
documents contribute to the preservation of the history of the UFCA Librarianship
course, taking into account the fact that the course does not have a documentary record
of its story? Its general objective is to investigate the memory milestones, through
records and reports, of the trajectory of the Librarianship course at the Federal
University of Cariri. To achieve this objective, the following specific objectives were
outlined: a) Collect documentary records for the production of a memory of the UFCA
Librarianship course; b) Conduct interviews with professors, students, graduates,
undergraduate coordination, stricto sensu graduate coordination, lato sensu graduate
coordination and administrative technicians linked to the course in order to record
memories through the reports; c) Demonstrate the ways of building and consolidating
the Librarianship course and its contributions to the regional development of Cariri; d)
Produce, as a final product, a chronological catalog with the main historical and
memorial landmarks of the Librarianship course - UFCA. As a methodological
resource, the research is characterized as exploratory and descriptive, in addition to
being bibliographic and documentary, with a qualitative-quantitative approach. The
method used consisted of a documentary and oral history research. To collect and
analyze the research data, Content Analysis was used. However, the importance of
institutional memory studies is highlighted, considering institutional documents and
their subjects. The research based the memorialistic records of the UFCA Librarianship 

course, through speeches, photos, news and documents that make up the trajectory of
the UFCA course. With the achievement of the objectives, a chronological catalog was
produced as a final product with the main historical and memorial landmarks of the
Librarianship course - UFCA, which highlights the events and the subjects who
write/wrote this history, contributing in a dynamic way to the activation of memories.

Music has a profound influence on people's lives, regardless of age and cultural context. In the Northeast,
several singers have highlighted the daily life of the sertanejo, highlighting one - Luiz Gonzaga do
Nascimento. With his partner Humberto Teixeira, he created the baião, later known as forró, being widely
spread in the 50s and 60s. Forró reached the four corners of Brazil, with a greater presence in the Northeast.
While Gonzaga was alive, forró had a more regionalist characteristic, focused on the themes of local
culture. With his death, however, there were changes. The number of people present at the parties, for
example, previously smaller, with the presence of the famous trio - accordion, triangle and zabumba - was
replaced by a larger structure, with the presence of electronic instruments. Some electronic forró bands
promote a true show business - with a gigantic structure, with guitars, drums, last generation sound
equipment. The changes went beyond - they were not limited to the aspect of the sound structure - there was
a change in the theme. With Luiz Gonzaga, music was much more marked by the history of the sertanejo,
the rural exodus, the problems of the northeast, its courage, its nordestinity, its cultural manifestations.
Now, with the electronic, electric or stylized forró, the songs speak of vaqueja, maintaining, however, the
motto - love, party, sex. This work focuses on the memory of two icons of Forró: Side A, Traditional Forró,
with its main representative, Luiz Gonzaga; and Side B, has the entrepreneur Emanoel Gurgel, creator of
Electronic Forró. On Side A, the aim is to trace the biography, influences and representativeness of the
King of Baião, in addition to pointing out his main partners and followers. On Side B, in turn, it seeks to
discuss the emergence of the Electronic Forró, which began in the 1990s, with businessman Emanoel
Gurgel, and highlight the role of Somzoom Sat in the dissemination of the genre. In addition, we discuss the
performance of the cultural industry and the changes that have occurred with technological developments. It
is an eminently bibliographical work, approaching the break in the gender, with the emergence of the
electronic forró. The direct action of the Cultural Industry, intensified with the technological advances, has
provoked changes in the cultural environment, mainly in music.

The research investigates the products and services of a virtual nature offered by
libraries of public elementary schools II in the municipality of Juazeiro do
North to its students. It is anchored, therefore, from the following problem question:
to what extent the creation of virtual collections can complement the physical collection
offered by the public elementary school library? The general objective of
research consists of verifying in what tone the virtual collections can complement the
printed collection offered by school libraries described in the aforementioned clipping.
As specific objectives, there are: (I) mapping the virtual services offered by the
three largest elementary schools II in Juazeiro do Norte to their students; (II)
Check the number of students who make use of the initiatives offered by the
library; (III) verify the qualitative relationship between the available virtual collection and the
target audience (public school students) in the didactic-pedagogical aspects.
In this way, we seek, through this investigation, to promote a discussion
more focused on the potential, feasibility and applicability of
virtual initiatives by public school libraries, in order to propose
a systematic action strategy applicable to these information units. THE
The present investigation fits as social research, given the fact that
allows and proposes the acquisition of new knowledge in a certain segment

through a structured questionnaire applied to professionals working in libraries
researched and author/researcher's observations during visits to the
researched. From the theoretical and empirical framework, it was found that it is possible to
think about the performance of the school library more effectively with the public for it
desired, through simple and perfectly feasible virtual initiatives. of this
way, it is possible to contribute in a more significant way in the formation of the skills
student readers.

This is a research that aims to identify the minimum requirements necessary to safeguard the access and institutional memory of digital documents produced, accessed and finalized at the Federal Institute of Maranhão (IFMA) and a suggestion to implement an action plan for digital preservation policy at IFMA. The current context of changes promoted by Information and Communication Technologies - ICTs, scientific development and the Internet have triggered innovations in relation to the production, processing, storage, use and dissemination of information in institutions, organizations, companies with a focus on digital transformation. Consequently, changes and benefits were applied to the files of these Federal Institutions. However, the problematization of the study is to investigate if the IFMA is prepared for the digital world, if there are public policies serving as a foundation to guarantee digital preservation, for this, a review of literature, books, portals, consultations in systems , public documents, document analysis and an observation questionnaire in its Archives. In this way, the research approaches an introduction diagnosing the advances of ICT'S, it presents the structure of the dissertation and its methodology, in the sequence, it deals with digital preservation policies, therefore, it relates to Custodial Archivology with Postgraduate Studies. Custodial, its conceptual bases, advances and paradigm shift. Digital Policy in Federal Institutes, Digital Policy in IFMA Management, and finally, final considerations, observations and future perspectives.

This dissertation addresses as a theme the management of information generated by the academic community in the Library System - SIBI of the Federal University of Cariri - UFCA. Therefore, a literature review was carried out on the subject in order to historically contextualize the relevance of the research, covering topics such as knowledge discovery in databases, databases, database management systems, big data. and data mining, encompassing historical/chronological concepts. The theme emerged from the following problem situation: are the data produced by students and other users of the SIBI of UFCA being transformed into useful information to support the decisions of library managers and librarians? The general objective of the work is to mine the large mass of data stored in the UFCA SIBI computerized system database, analyze and produce useful information for the consumption of interested parties and provide the academic community with open and transparent data about the collection of libraries. UFCA university students. We have as specific objectives: to provide informative panels (dashboards) and customizable reports; extract relevant hidden patterns in historical data and develop an interactive platform with the mined data. The latter constitutes the final product of the dissertation. The sheer volume of historical transaction data held by organizations can reveal valuable insights. Thus, it is relevant to identify the importance of this study, as it offers subsidies for a continuous improvement of services and indicators for decision-making and prediction of managers, in order to keep university libraries aligned with the institution's strategic objectives and attractive to your audience. As for the methodological procedures, the research is descriptive, exploratory and with a qualitative-quantitative approach. Data collection was performed by extracting the SIBI collection from the Database Management System, where only non-sensitive data were considered. In the final product, it was possible to extract relevant information and achieve the research objectives.

The present work is the first part of a more in-depth research regarding the first records of what can (or cannot) be considered institutional communication in Juazeiro do Norte. Therefore, a survey was carried out to conceptualize several important points for the progress of this study. At this first moment, the activity carried out took place through a bibliographic review, bringing the concepts to important terms for understanding the part that will come next. These are the terms: institutional, memory, image, communication. It was also the objective of this initial task, to build a dialogue between these concepts and understand how some of these points can be “institutionalized”. We also seek to better understand the journalistic function of the image, something essential for this research. Based on these definitions, we hope to find the ideal way to answer the problem proposed at the beginning of this project. 

Abstract: The dissertation research is developed based on the principle of the need for the effective inclusion of indigenous information in the curricular matrix of educational institutions of basic education. It is also understood that in this way, it is necessary to understand how the IFCE Libraries are constituted of bibliographic materials with indigenous information, thinking about the planning of an education that includes the historical and cultural aspects of indigenous diversities. In order to reach the objectives that guide this research, it is essential to build an emancipatory dialogue, which relates the importance of indigenous information, and the presence of these materials in the collection of IFCE libraries, subsidizing the process of applicability of Law nº 11.645/2008. The analytical-investigative method of the research proposes not to disobey its decolonial stance, however, it uses the European North American Western aesthetic that shapes it as a bibliographic, exploratory research. This is bibliographic research according to its collection procedures. It brings the exploratory and qualitative approach according to its dimension, considering that it is an theme still little debated within Librarianship and Information Science, to deepen and discover sufficient scientific literature to support its development. And documentary, because through these materials it will be possible to analyze the other data collected. It will use the inductive research method, it will use the inductive research method, as it is considered more suitable for investigations in the Social Sciences, and because it is an inductive method, it will give more breath to analyze, reflect and make inferences, about the analysis of indigenous information materials collected in the SophiA Biblioteca, depository of all bibliographic material from the IFCE libraries. It presents the proposal for the elaboration of the guide of indigenous information sources to help teachers, students, librarians, researchers and the general public. Finally, the conclusive debates make observations based on the need to deepen the debates around these issues, not intending to be exhausted in the present research.

Modern public organizations become complex in terms of information management. It is important to know how to deal with this intangible asset. Archivistics will corroborate in the solution of managerial problems in the management of information. In this sense, the present work will present the diagnosis, as well as the analysis of the patrimonial memory, for the antecedent of the creation of the document management proposal and the archival policy for the Universidade Federal do Cariri (UFCA). The analysis will occur with the verification of the System and File structures, which are sectorized due to the lack of an appropriate place. The guidelines and actions for its implementation will be analyzed, involving current challenges and perspectives. Institutional archival public policies are fundamental for the implementation of document management, especially in the archives of public institutions, based on the case study of the Universidade Federal do Cariri. We stress that this process drives the study of archival science, ensuring compliance with the right to access information. As a methodology, the research will carry out a survey of bibliographic and documentary data, existing in the collection, and by secondary sources through books, scientific articles and materials available on the internet, as a source of important information for archiving and the positive impacts of the elaboration, and carrying out a diagnosis in order to better meet the expectations of UFCA users. The documental management in the academic and administrative units of UFCA will allow the identification of some difficulties in the management that refers to the use and diffusion of the information. In this sense, the present study aims at developing a Proposal for Archival Public Policies, designed for the archive of the Federal University of Cariri, to investigate its evaluation and implementation, based on this theoretical and methodological context.

The general objective of this research is to investigate how ethnic-racial issues can be guided in the policy of formation and development of collections of school libraries in the city of Juazeiro do Norte - Ceará, in compliance with Law 10.639/2003. And as specific objectives: a) discuss the criteria for the implementation of an anti-racist Collection Training and Development Policy for school libraries; b) highlight the actions of the black educator movement for the construction of an anti-racist society and c) develop a Manual for the formation and development of anti-racist collections aimed at the Municipal System of School Libraries of Juazeiro do Norte - Ceará, observing what establishes the Curriculum Guidelines National Institutes for the Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations and for the Teaching of Afro-Brazilian and African History and Culture. It is possible to affirm through the history of Information Science that the black population is in a representative disparity in the traditional educational institutional means, in its materials, contents and services. The previous information found a social and library-economic problem that supports the following problem-question: in view of the diversity of materials, supports and services of school libraries, how can ethnic-racial issues be guided in the policy of formation and development of collections of these information units, for the enforcement of Law 10.639/2003? This concern sought to be elucidated through a systematization of methodological procedures, using techniques for access, analysis and use of consolidated informational materials on the subject. It concludes that the production of a manual that aims to technically and socially guide the Formation and Development of Anti-racist Collections for the Municipal System of School Libraries of Juazeiro do Norte - Ceará is a promising mechanism to combat racism and prejudice, for this, it is necessary that librarians and teachers are willing beforehand to be touched by this anti-racist education in a pedagogical formative character.

This is a study on the production of a good practice guide to expand the dissemination of
scientific knowledge in the institutional repository of the Federal University of Cariri (UFCA).
In view of this, this study was based on the following problem: What practices can contribute
to better management of scientific production from the institutional repository of UFCA? It is
assumed that the development of a guide containing good practices inherent to the management
of institutional repositories based on trends in scientific communication will guide managers in
the implementation and management of institutional repositories. Therefore, its general
objective is to develop a guide with good practice guidelines that contribute to the management
of scientific production from UFCA's institutional repository. To this end, the following
specific objectives were outlined: a) to characterize the practices of diffusion in the flow of
scientific communication; b) identify and analyze technical and scientific literature that guides
the construction and management of institutional repositories; c) describe the guidelines that
will support the construction of good practices for the management of scientific production
through institutional repositories. The methodological path uses the deductive method, with an
exploratory purpose presenting bibliographic, documentary and Delphi methods, the approach
to the problem was qualitative and is classified as applied research. In the theoretical
framework, the origins and practices of disseminating scientific communication were
explained, as well as the trends in the generation, dissemination, access and use of scientific
knowledge in the digital institutional repositories. In the analysis and discussion of the results
of the questionnaires applied with the Delphi method, it was possible to trace the
recommendations of the experts in the form of good practice guidelines for the management of
the institutional repository at UFCA. the repository with other systems; need to integrate the
repository with other systems (directories, databases, etc.) .; integration with the Lattes and
Sucupira platforms to collect and share data on scientific production of postgraduate courses;
creation of a federated search network based on the integration of the repository with the
institution's discovery services or service providers; development of applications that
streamline and allow the registration of the repository in several international directories;

availability of statistical information on the works, authors and subjects that are in the
repository; assignment of Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to jobs as an information service for
users; policy making, therefore, its scarcity is a worrying factor in the management of a
repository; virtual exhibition of documents as a way to publicize and attract users; practice of
digital curation to improve the repository's functionalities; and, development of a culture of
adoption of the repository in the institution. Finally, in the final considerations, a guide of good
practices as a research product was structured, which will benefit UFCA's repository managers,
covering the practices recommended by the literature and specialists in the area with regard to
the generation, dissemination, access and use of knowledge. scientific from the repositories,
and this channel of scientific communication facilitates dissemination, provides visibility and,
above all, drives open science by enabling access to knowledge from teaching and research
institutions.

This is a research about the elaboration of a guide for the development of the
institutional policy for accessibility and inclusion of People with Disabilities (PwD) in the
context of Higher Education in Brazilian federal public universities. The course of this study
starts from the following research problem: What parameters can be adopted, in the process of
elaborating institutional public policies, for accessibility and inclusion of PwD in the context of
Higher Education for federal public universities? Therefore, the general objective is to elaborate
a guide for the development of the institutional policy for accessibility and inclusion of PwD in
the context of Higher Education for federal public universities. For this, it is intended to address
the following specific objectives: a) reflect on the constructs theoreticians inherent to
accessibility and inclusion in the context of Higher Education from the perspective of the
librarian's role as a social transforming agent; b) identify official and technical documents that
support the creation of an institutional policy for accessibility and inclusion of PwD for federal
public universities; c) map institutional policies for accessibility and inclusion of PwD already
existing in the scope of Higher Education; d) investigate parameters of these policies, observing
the contexts involving PwD, in order to structure the guide. In the methodological procedures,
the investigation logic and line of thought of phenomenology will be used, with bibliographic
and documental technical procedures, with documental analysis technique as well. In addition,
this study is of an applied nature with a qualitative approach, therefore, it presents exploratory
objectives. In the theoretical foundation, the historical approach of Social Librarianship, the
public policies of accessibility and inclusion of PwD and the theoretical constructs about the
accessibility and inclusion of PwD in Higher Education were analyzed. Regarding the analysis
and discussion of the data, a priori the mapping of universities and existing policies was
presented, and a posteriori the analysis of the documents found (accessibility policies,
documents related to the guarantees of accessibility and inclusion to PwD and the Plans of
Institutional Development) in the portals of Brazilian federal universities, and finally, the
structuring and synthesis of the guide. This guide includes suggestions for the unit responsible
for implementing the accessibility policy; legislation on the right to education and accessibility;
definitions & concepts about accessibility, inclusion & PwD; target audience of the policy;
guidelines regarding actions and attitudes in the different contexts of accessibility of PwD at
university; policy effectiveness assessment (checklists); and final considerations. With regard to
the final considerations of the research, it was possible to build a guide covering guidelines that
express parameters in which the institution's actions must be developed in order to fulfill the
mission and institutional vision. Thus, it was concluded that the product has the potential to
solve the obstacles that PwD face when entering the university.

Currently, the area of Librarianship has in the Reference and Information Service (SRI) one of its most complete functions, making it necessary to develop a set of differentiated skills by the professional who works in this area, that is, the librarian of reference, which has the role of mediator between the information and the user who needs it. In this sense, the SRI of the Carlos Castelo Branco Journalist Library (BCCB) of the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI) is analyzed in order to understand the informational skills and abilities required by librarians by users. This research aims to establish a proposal for evaluating the satisfaction of SRI users by applying the ServQual Model within the UFPI library, considering the informational skills of the librarian in this sector. The specific objectives are defined as: a) characterizing the reference and information services (physical and virtual) currently used in university libraries; b) identify the informational skills and competences of librarians, required by the users of the SRI of the UFPI library; c) propose an SRI Assessment Plan for the UFPI library using the ServQual Model and Focus Group. Regarding the methodology used, descriptive research was used. As for the collection of data necessary for the constitution of the research in question, it was done through a bibliographic survey, an online questionnaire on Google Forms and a Focus Group with the research subjects (users of the UFPI library), since the nature of the data was constituted through a qualitative and quantitative approach. In analyzing the research data, content analysis was used. As for the results of the study, it was found from the analysis of the gaps/gaps of ServQual, that there is a discrepancy between the expected service and the service perceived by users of the BCCB SRI of UFPI, as the expectation exceeds the perception in almost all the dimensions, except in the Warranty Dimension. Thus, it was verified the importance of carrying out user satisfaction surveys, to identify gaps (gaps or failures) in the services offered by the institutions, in order to favor diagnoses of existing problems and propose corrections or adjustments in the services offered. In addition, the application of the Focus Group was concluded with an enriching discussion with/among users, which resulted in different opinions and suggestions to resolve the main gaps detected in the ServQual results. The result of this research presented as a final product a “Guide for professionals of the reference service: evaluation of the satisfaction of users of the services offered by the libraries of federal universities”. It is expected that this product will contribute by serving as a basis for assessing the satisfaction of users of university libraries, such as BCCB at UFPI, which will be able to use it with a view to maintaining and/or achieving the quality of service offered by its sector of reference. It is also hoped that it will provide a greater approximation between the services offered by the reference sector and the real expectations of the users of the units who apply it to evaluate their services.

This work proposes to bring to the debate memory, in several of its nuances, photography and its representation of reality and how the representation of photographic information can unite and work in favor of institutional memory. The issue of the dissertation's problem addressed the following question: How can the memory of IFSertãoPE, observed through the photographs, be preserved using the representation of information? Photographs have a very strong documentary role throughout their history and the work of representing the information in these documents needs to be well developed so that they can be better represented. The general objective is to produce a model for the representation of photographic information for IFSertãoPE. And as specific objectives of this work, to carry out a photographic survey, based on photographs of servers, to build a collection of memorial images of the institution; discuss the preservation of institutional memory through the photographic document; propose the dissemination of institutional memory, giving visibility to the history of IFSertãoPE, through photographs. The proposed methodological procedures are of an applied research with a qualitative focus, having as a bibliographic survey and documental research in the technical procedures to reach the objectives and to discuss the proposed themes. The collection and analysis of the data used is a documental analysis which revealed that it is possible to include in the representations of information a memorial approach to expand the collection, use and dissemination of information from photographic documents

Scientific collaboration is the target of this study and has the general objective of: Understanding a
scientific production and cooperative social relations of researchers
research groups in the Communication area at the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI),
certified by the DGP, from 2014 to 2018. Specifically, it is intended:
Analyze published articles and scientific journals in the Communication area;
Map how researchers' cooperation networks and institutional collaboration;
Check the capillarity in scientific communications in international journals and
Develop a publication manual for scientific articles with suggestions for
Communication researchers. As a research methodology, we used a
Bibliometric Analysis and Social Network Analysis (ARS). Thus, a survey
it is an exploratory and descriptive study, with a qualitative approach. Beyond
In addition, calculate the density, centrality, intermediation and
proximity to the possibility of analyzing the structure of social networks formed by
investigated researchers. Through the study, verify if the majority of articles
were created in shared authorship, or that presupposes a trend in the
production of collaborative scientific knowledge. In addition, it was found that
social networks have low connectivity due to the presence of many
weak ties, as well as the existence of communities that form subgroups in the network,
that is, a presence of specific regions with a high degree of relational integration.

It deals with the Reference Service (RS) in the context of the Libraries of Federal Universities in
the Northeast region of Brazil. It presents the following question as a problematic element: how
is it possible to structure a policy for the development of the reference service in the libraries of
Federal Universities in Northeast Brazil, through an approach on the achievements of this
service? Its general objective is to identify reference service practices in the libraries of federal

universities in Northeast Brazil and to propose strategies for their dynamization. The general
objective is subdivided into three specific objectives: To identify the existing guidelines related
to the RS performance in the libraries of federal universities in the Northeast; Establish
performance parameters for RS in university libraries and Propose a development policy for RS
in libraries of federal universities in the Northeast. Based on these objectives, it presents and
discusses the trajectory of policies aimed at universities, especially those dedicated to university
libraries. It exposes the historical evolution and discusses the concepts associated with RS,
presents its structure and interrelations in the university environment, as well as provides
examples of guidelines and actions related to this sector developed by institutions from various
parts of the world. Methodologically, it makes use of document analysis, with the analyzed
documents being collected on the websites of the 18 institutions investigated, and a semi-
structured electronic questionnaire applied to librarians who work in the libraries of the
researched federal universities. The collected data were examined based on discourse analysis.
From the examination of the data, it concludes that the library systems analyzed, in their
majority, carry out reference activities. However, there is a predominance of traditional RS
practices. In addition, it was found that there are no guidelines for the performance of the
reference service in the researched libraries, but there is, on the part of the librarians, the
desire for such resources to be made available. Finally, a policy was proposed to guide the
performance and development of RS within the university library.

The present research aims to evaluate the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and
Technology’s libraries web pages from north and northeast regions, considering
accessibility’s patterns recommended for World Web Consortium (W3C), Web
Content Accessibility Guidelines- WCAG), Eletronic Government Web Standards, and
for Eletronic Government Accessibility Template (E- MAG). Web accessibility
proposes the inclusion of disabled users in the web content exhibition’s varied patterns
and templates. The main goal of that study is to evaluate libraries web pages’
accessibility for disabled users of Federal Institutes from north and northeast regions.
Therefore, the specific goals are: identify the Federal Institutes’ libraries that provide
accessibility’ tools in their main web pages; verify if the main web pages of libraries of
Federal Institute from north and northeast regions attend the accessibility’s patterns
according to recommendations showed for W3C based on WCAG and E- MAG;
elaborate a guideline with accessibility’ recomendations to build web pages according
to suggested patterns. For the methodology, the study applies a consistent review in
specialized literature of Applied Science, conducted by inductive method, adopting
both the exploratory research, and descriptive one, after the study of guidelines’ and
acccessibility’s patterns, respectively. The data collection started with sixteen web
pages of Federal Institute’s libraries, that were analised in experiments through Ases
accessibility validation. Moreover, for analysis of results was used content’s analysis
technique. Thereby, based on showed data results, it is concluded that the libraries’
web pages of Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology from north and
northeast have been partly accessible. So, the following work may be a direction for
other ones, in order to provide necessary changes and achieve satisfactory results of
web accessibility, not only for Federal Institutes from north and northeast as well as
extending for IFs all over the Brazil.

Discuss the religious tourist information service on the Juazeiro do Norte (CE)
city, emphasizing the importance of identifying the main tourist attractions of the
city, in order to recall its relevance for the construction of the memory of the city,
showing them as places of memory. This research presents an exploratory-
descriptive character, as regards procedures, it qualifies as qualitative, with
regard to the means, it is bibliographical. It also deals with the memory studied
by Social Science, not addressing the psychic memory, but a type of memory
that affects the entire population, which is responsible for the transmission and
storage of knowledge, customs, which are transmitted from generation to
generation in the most diverse forms. This memory, which is concerned with
thinking about society, has distinctions. We will approach in this study the
concepts of oral memory, memory and history, individual memory, collective
memory, social memory, cultural memory and communicative memory and
places of memory, seeking to present reference authors in each of them.
Juazeiro do Norte (CE) became known nationally by the miracle of the Host and
the feats of Father Cicero. Since then, millions of people have visited the city,
seeking to be in the places where Padim has been, knows where he lived, the
monument in his honor, and also the tomb where he is buried; to relate, in a
way, directly to the saint to whom they are devoted. The objective was to
present the main concepts and researchers that seek to understand and study
the various branches that tourism is involved, the characteristics that distinguish
them and the audience that each segment attracts. We briefly present issues
related to the relevance of information to the tourism sector, extending to the
tourist information service that will be proposed for the city of Juazeiro do Norte
(CE). Finally, as a product of the dissertation, we propose a tourist information
service for the city, to provide in a single place "how to reach the main tourist
attractions" and the memory of its history through an app. The product was
thought in the form of an application because it is considered the most
accessible tool for tourists visiting the city of Padre Cícero, since we are not
only thinking about the ladies and gentlemen who participate annually in the
pilgrimages, but in everyone that passes through the city.

From acting in the field of photography and observing the activities carried out in this
area in the Cariri Region, we have been sensitized to the little visibility of photographers
in the territory, as authors and curators of exhibitions and lecturer in courses, events,
collectives, projects and groups. What mobilizes us to think about the gender issues that
are inserted in being a photographer. It seems relevant - from the first Cariri Women
Photographer Exhibition - to reflect on the participation of women in art and
photography as a historical document and how our way of perceiving and dealing with
how the world in contemporary times is crossed by photography. Considering the image
from its documentary function and starting from the observation of gaps in the
registration and recognition of the work of women in photography, the general objective
of this master's research is to report the experience of the first Exhibition of Women
Photographers in Cariri as a space for reconstruction of memory of the photographic
production of artists from the territory. We then established as specific objectives: 1. To
carry out a bibliographic review about the relationship between photography and
memory and gender issues related to the theme; 2. Propose a systematization of the
works exhibited by themes and photographic genre; 3. Contribute to a mapping of the
production of women photographers; and 4. Organize a book about the experience of the
first Cariri Women Photographer Exhibition. In the trajectory of the research carried out
from 2018 to 2020, we based ourselves on feminist epistemologies and used as
procedures for collecting and analyzing data from exploratory interviews, applying an
online form and documentary research of the works exhibited at the 1st Exhibition of
Women Photographers in Cariri. The procedures used for data analysis were: the
categorization of genres and themes of the photographs in an electronic spreadsheet
elaborated from the categories proposed by Smith (2018) and content analysis of the
information collected through the interviews and forms.

This research deals with some issues in emphasis on the media and scientific community of information
professionals since the events that occurred in 2016, as supposed influences of Russian agents in elections
in other countries and on Brexit until mid-2020 with the principle of the pandemic by corona virus
(Covid-19), diagnosed as it was of the post-truth. In this connection between memory, tribal instincts and
global connectivity in the liquidity scenario, the mission of mediation of information professionals should
be carried out to provide dialogue between the extremes. The objective of this proposal is to diagnose the
particularities of the conceptual and historical origins of information and collective memory, its effects on
the contexts of disinformation and dissemination of false news and what attitude of the librarian society
needs in this context. To this end, it is intended to plan the following steps: (a) to analyze by historical
and cultural approach the concepts of memory and truth their relations with the conceptions of power; (b)
investigate similar phenomena from post-truth and the possible consequences of their large-scale use in
social networks in the context of postmodernity and liquid modernity; (c) visualizing with the movement
of informational mediation can help in the practices and services offered by informational environments;
(d) develop an annual training schedule for conscious use of information in the media, social networks
and messaging applications, directed to the needs of the academic community of IFMA, Campus Caxias,
developing the skills of critical reading, checking information sources and using reliable research sources.
It is assumed that the librarian acting as an information mediator in the development of the informational
competence of the belonging community, will lead users in the process of filtering, critical use,
verifiability of information and interactions in social networks. This professional will positively lead to
his social mission of digital empowerment and information literacy, basing belonging and place of action
in society, will remember as the next step in the evolution of his professional duties. A phenomenological
approach was used, using action research to map and diagnose the information consumption profiles of
the community served to better provide training in order to bring them to full information literacy, making
them individuals able to the contexts of the technological revolution due to ICTs in the liquidity scenario.
Formulating and offering continuing training for information literacy to be offered as a permanent service
of the Professor Luís Queirois library, of the Instituto Federal do Maranhão, Campus Caxias, in addition
to the continuity of existing ones, in order to provide channels of permanent dialogues for reflection and
development of critical content analysis.

It aims to research within the scope of the Organization and Information Representation the
particularities aimed specifically at the Classification of works of erotic content.
In his theoretical journey he tells a brief history of classification and its importance
for Librarianship, deals with the definition and characteristics of the classification and
explains about the points arising from erotic literature and how it is seen by scholars and
lay people. Its general objective: To discuss how the thematic representation of literature
eroticism, through the use of classification, has been approached and worked on by
libraries of the Ceará State Higher Education Institutions; and as goals
Specific: Outline the characteristics of erotic literature as material
informational; Discuss informational ethics in the processes of organization and
information representation; Identify how works are classified by
Public Higher Education Institutions (IPES) in the State of Ceará; and, Propose a
Indicative bibliographic classification table for works of erotic literature. To
achievement of objectives, the dialectical method for discussing facts was used and the
understanding of the subjects covered in the research, which has an exploratory character by
understand the organization and representation from classification systems, with
a study based on the ethics of information representation processes, which involves
the classification of works of erotic content. For this purpose, the research
bibliography and the survey of works classified in databases of
public universities in Ceará with free access, making a content analysis
regarding the form of representation of erotic literature works based on their
respective classifications in the investigated library systems. However, analysis 

points out that libraries do not classify works according to the classification
indicated scientific research, which points to the need for guidelines for the
classification based on the profile of library users. The final product resulted
in a Guide for the indicative classification of erotic works, based on the CDD Code and
in the TV indicative table, developed by the Ministry of Justice, in order to assist
at the time of classification of these works.

In contemporary society, Information and Communication Technologies are used as a basic tool for people's communication, with which individuals who are not connected, will be part of the digitally excluded society. With the theme: Digital inclusion of the elderly: mediation and information in the Municipal Public Library of Juazeiro do Norte Dr. Possidônio da Silva Well, this research presents as problematic the following question: how the Municipal Public Library of Juazeiro do Norte prepares for the insertion of your elderly community in information technologies? This research is justified academically, professionally and socially. Academically due to the fact that information is an interdisciplinary vehicle and must be processed and disseminated in a clear and objective way to society. Professionally, because regardless of their informational environment, the information professional must take charge of the forms of inclusion, through activities and actions that can be made available inside the library and in its surroundings. Socially, due to the concern to keep subjects digitally included and connected beyond their local context, especially for minorities, this being a matter of democratizing access to information and technologies. It aims to analyze the process of digital inclusion and independence in the use of technologies of the elderly group through a questionnaire. Having as specific objectives: Reflect on the role of the public library in the information society, with a specific look under the digital inclusion to the public of the elderly; Describe the motivations to include themselves digitally, and later, the daily changes perceived with the knowledge acquired through the use of technologies; Identify the profile of the elderly user of the Municipal Public Library of Juazeiro do Norte regarding the use of information and communication technologies; Investigate how the elderly understand and expose the experience of digital inclusion. Providing as hypotheses it can be said that the application of Digital Inclusion courses to your community, with virtual access, contributes effectively to digital inclusion; and the referenced Library has the potential to expand service in the digital context to the elderly public in its user community. The Final Product presented is a booklet entitled 'Basic Computer Course and Social Networks for the Elderly', specifically aimed at the public of the elderly, with diagramming of the didactic material composed of texts with letters of specific sizes for this audience and images, so that the it can be used in other informational spaces.

This dissertation aims to discuss memory from the specific perspective of forgetfulness,
working on the intrinsic relationship between the two. Based on this relationship, it seeks to
look at the constitution of urban memories and how they are shaped by processes of frameworks
that use forgetfulness in memory to meet specific interests. This study starts from a logical
research basis based on the inductive method, and from the perspective of the technical bases of
investigation, is anchored in the historical method. The objective is from the observation of a
specific reality, which is the urban memory of the city of Crato and the constitution of its places
of memory; to promote with this, the debate between forgetfulness and its implications in the
memorialist construction of urban spaces.It aims to reflect on memory, forgetfulness and silence
and debate the concept of urban memory and the production of mnemonic discourses in the
context of cities. At the end, it is proposed to develop a social cartography of the urban memory
of the city of Crato, listing the mapped places and their relations with the memory, history and
culture of the region

The present work deals with the study on the institutional communication process of the Federal University of Cariri (UFCA). The objective of the research is to analyze the institutional communication of UFCA with its public (students, employees and collaborators), highlighting and exploring the media tools used by the institution and thus detect requirements for the construction of the product for purposes directed to a Proposal in the Format of a Application Development Manual for improving disclosure related to the communication of events at UFCA / Campus Juazeiro do Norte. Therefore, this project starts from the following problem; How can new information and communication technologies contribute so that information is effectively disseminated to the community and its users within UFCA? Presenting as specific objectives the following formulations: To verify which are the technological means implanted within the university, effectively, in the communicational process; Describe the difficulties recognized by the respondents in the search for information about events at UFCA; List respondents' suggestions for improvements in disclosure for internal communication of event information at UFCA. This study is justified by the speed of technological innovations, leveraging the means of communication for the dissemination of information by that institution. As for the methodological procedures, they focus on being a research with exploratory, descriptive, and qualitative approach, as a technical procedure, constituting a bibliographic and documentary review using books, journals, articles and publications on the UFCA website with based on the deductive method, worked on and deepened the concepts of information and knowledge management, communication, digital communication and smartphone. Data collection was developed through a questionnaire applied to users, with 15 (fifteen) objective questions and 1 (one) subjective question directed to students, servers and employees at UFCA on the Juazeiro do Norte campus. The sample occurred due to accessibility, the invitation was addressed to students, servers and employees of the Juazeiro do Norte-CE campus by sending the online questionnaire to e-mails via the Google Forms form. The discussion of the results showed in the analysis of the data in a quantitative way considering the objective and qualitative questions regarding the subjective question. With the results obtained through the investigation, the weight and relevance of these means of communication dissemination for the optimization of processes and improvement of communication and dissemination with speed and effectiveness were demonstrated. In addition, it brought a mapping of the existing means of communication at UFCA. Thus, a manual with the Application Development Proposal was prepared as the final product with the requirements sought by the survey respondents for the elaboration of an application, which can effectively distribute communication within the Federal University of Cariri, and thus reduce / remedy possible communication failures existing within this institution.

It addresses a reflection on public policies for school libraries, taking into account the social and political aspects of this space. It presents a historical cut of the school library, Brazilian education and educational policies, as well as provides a conceptual dialogue on the subject in question from the authors used as theoretical reference. It analyzes the school library trying to understand its current context and its multiple possibilities of acting, as well as its educational function as social and cultural promoter. The problem that guides the research is to understand how the performance of the Municipal Education Department of Juazeiro do Norte-CE has been developed with regard to the proposal of public policies for school libraries. In this sense, the general objective is to investigate how the public policies for school libraries are given in this Secretariat, aiming to propose a program of action. The methodological procedures of the research are classified as descriptive and exploratory, as for the means used bibliographical and documentary, delimiting the case study. Regarding the nature of the data, this study is configured as quantitative and qualitative. The instruments of data collection are questionnaires and interviews, and the analysis of the data will be through content analysis. It is hoped that, through the results of the research, in spite of the proposed objectives not being fully achieved, that the work can establish new dialogues and reflections on the theme and thus contribute significantly, albeit at local level, to a development area.

Designates the methodological path, intending to respond to problems and meet the goals, the characterization techniques and stages of research, systematized as follows: purpose, undertook the exploratory and descriptive method; as to the means, applied to bibliographical and documentary strategy, resting on the qualitative approach; for collecting data and evidence, by the technique of participant observation, and, as an instrument, the semi-structured interview; regarding the analysis of the data, was the analysis of documents, oral history and cultural studies in order to trace a history of the formation and development of the SPB, as well as analyze the string that entity, entitled “Feast of Saint Anthony of Barbalha”. Presents as an end product, the elaboration of a catalogue with the strings published by SPB, as well as the biographies of the poet’s members. Concludes, clarifying the ways of representation of the memory from the activities carried out by the SPB, highlighting the role of the string as a tool for heritage education, as well as raise the triggering of other research in that direction.

This work addresses the concepts of information and knowledge representation in the areas of museology
and librarianship. It discusses the norms and standards that exist for the documentation process of the
museums and it analyzes the way in which the treatment of the objects in the museums is carried out. The
following are questions raised in this research: how the representation processes are done in museums?
Which specific museum standards are worked? Are there any similarities between representation processes
in museums and libraries? How can the Historic Museum of Crato work this process? The general objective
of this work is to discuss the models of Information Representation, and the possible relations between the
standards used in Librarianship and those of Museology. This research is classified as bibliographical and
documentary using the qualitative method and field research. It is hoped that the results presented in this
research can contribute to studies made on documentation in Museology in Brazil, understanding the
representation processes and assisting museums in the development of this activity.

It is proposed to reflect on the importance of the concepts of memory, tradition and
identity, from orality, recognizing this as an important element in the
process of communication and transmission of traditions, passed on from generation to generation,
by traditional culture groups in the city of Barbalha-Ceará. In an exhibition
historical and contextual approach, there are approaches and questions about the
traditional groups in the opening of the procession of the Festa de Santo Antônio, emphasizing its
origin and representativeness in the southern region of Ceará. The objective of this research is to
need to safeguard and record the elements of identity and representation
groups, through a mapping and categorization. The
ethnographic method, to follow the groups and conduct interviews
semistructured and content analysis to extract the registration units and units
identify the defining elements of the groups for categorization.
As a conclusion, the final product will be a memorial catalog with the groups of
tradition that are registered in the Secretariat of Culture of Barbalha-Ceará and
participated in the procession of the Feast of the Pau da Bandeira de Santo Antônio, between the years
from 2016 to 2018.

In the perspective of the Human and Social Sciences, memory is studied as a product of the relationships of social interaction between individual and society that, affecting each other, generate connections capable of producing meanings and meanings in a dynamic and dialogical scenario. In concrete, in space, in the environment in which social subjects coexist and travel through the fabric of life, memory becomes rooted and gains material contours. In this process is the city, which frames the relations of the individual with his social group, enabling the development of human and social experiences. From their sensitive perceptions, the inhabitants of the city produce speeches and images beyond their physical configuration, making it a place that carries meaning and memories. In this direction, this study seeks to understand the interlocutions existing between individual, collective and official memory in the process of representation of the city of Teresina. Through a qualitative and exploratory study, anchored in dialectics and historical materialism, we try to construct a narrative of Teresina's historicity using, above all, the memories of the elderly who with it have woven affective memories, reflected in their ways of seeing , meaning and experience the city. It was carried out with elderly people living in the shelter of the Abrigo São Lucas Foundation, located in Teresina-PI. The proposed investigation adopted as a method of data collection the production of interviews according to the unstructured system, which consists in the elaboration of a previous script where the interviewees are led to the spontaneous description of the facts. In the process of stimulating the construction of narratives, the technique of photo interview was also used, with the presentation of photographs of the city acting as triggering resources for memories. For the analysis of the collected data, we focused on Discourse Analysis theorized by Michel Pêcheux, for whom discourse is built at the confluence of ideological, historical and social contexts. Research has shown that older people, although they are not aware of this, play an important role in reconstituting their experiences. Their representations, although starting from the individual scope, refer to collective events that portray urban ways of life and spaces of the city, meant by and for their inhabitants. It is concluded that the oral reports constitute potential informational elements to bring new contributions to the understanding of the historicity of Teresina, which can trigger new possibilities of professional work of the librarian, in the dialogical perspective between information and memory.

This study deals with the production, communication and use of ethnic-racial information transmitted on the YouTube platform, in channels about black beauty, with black women as protagonists. It is based on the assumption that historically black people and especially Black Women have been denied their history, their experiences, pains, joys, losses and gains. What has been recorded is from writings made by the look of the Settler that exposes them from their domineering gaze, placing them as only objectified, subservient and inferior beings. Here is exposed the trajectory of struggle of these Women still in the slave-owning period to contemporaneity, to what was denominated Black Feminism and the presence of information and communication technologies and the web, having as consequences the emergence of social networks, platforms of sharing of videos that have become a means of expression that attracts more and more black women to become protagonists, writers and YouTubers. Based on these premises, the present study has as general objective to analyze processes of production and use of ethnic-racial information in the construction of the black identity, focusing on the channels of black Youtubers, and as specific: it is intended to identify in the ethnic-racial information if there is a political position to confront racism in Brazil; outline the profile of the protagonist subjects; to elaborate a digital educational booklet on black aesthetics from the researched channels; discuss the role of information in the process of politicization and self-assertion of black identity; to verify if the informational procedures interfere in the process of transition of black women from the use of natural hair, curly, curly and also in the exercise of new forms of discourse on the racial theme. The methodology is supported by netnography, it has a qualitative perspective related to the social perspective and the black beauty vlogs of the YouTube platform define the field of research. Thus, this research seeks to identify the construction of a positive black female identity from the ethnic-racial information disseminated by the black beauty channels and still identifies them as a space of socialization and reference for Black Women.

It addresses the use of social media in a strategic way, focused on the development of
marketing activities by the Academic Library (ALs) in order to promote its products and
services. The use of these tools by AL is important because they act as a bidirectional
communication channel, allowing the user to interact with the organization, receive feedback
and vice versa in real time. The study aims to present a proposal for a training program for the
AL´ team that focuses on the effective use of social media as a tool for digital marketing. For
that, a field study was conducted whose research universe is composed of the ALs of the
federal universities of the Northeast region of Brazil. Initially, a survey was carried out with the
institutions that make up the study object as a way to identify the availability of informational
guidelines on the websites of these institutions that support the actions of management of social
media profiles linked to AL and guidelines related to the training of the team responsible for
carrying out this type of activity. It was verified that of all the universe of study, only 11% of
the researched ALs provide in their websites their informational guidelines that guide the
management of their profiles in social media as well as the development of marketing actions
among the guidelines found, only one of them presented information about the characteristics
of the management team emphasizing that this team must undergo a training process. Based on
this, a training proposal for the use of social media was prepared, which was in agreement with
the organizational climate, the information unit, divided into four (4) modules, the purpose of
the training proposal is to provide the team designated by AL institutional information, social
media management, marketing and information security. Finally, the study concludes that the
non-performance of training actions to manage AL profiles in social media may lead to its
underutilization and result in lower results than expected by AL regarding its performance in
digital media.

This research is based on the assumption that each informational environment differs according to the culture and organizational structure, as well as the proactivity of its professionals. It has as a general objective, to propose a booklet that generates reflection on the transformations of the library and the means of interactivity between the user and the library in the web 2.0 environment of Higher Education Institutions. The study is justified by the rapid technological innovations, potentializing and personalizing the Library area directly, in the interactivity in the informational environment; interdisciplinarity, the opening of systematic and continuous dialogue among professionals from different sciences; in the face of new demands, challenges, formats and practices related to organizational changes; in collaboration and cooperation in the construction and restructuring of knowledge and fundamental knowledge for analysis, reflection and critical and creative interventions that contribute to the sharing and dissemination of information; and, finally, by the products and producers originated in the institutions as a response to the community. Methodologically, the research is delineated as a field study in the libraries of Higher Education Institutions (IES) in the city of Juazeiro do Norte / CE, for exploratory and descriptive purposes. As for technical, bibliographic and documentary procedures. As a technique of data collection: questionnaire to users, with objective questions, analyzed quantitatively; form to the librarians, using a subjective questionnaire; observation of the Virtual Library, with the use of instruments, analyzed under the qualitative approach. As a result of this research, it is perceived the configuration and insertion of different technological tools as means of interactivity library and users ratified by the data explored in the units of information researched. For the construction of the product the history, mishaps and transformation of the library are recorded, as well as tools that have been shown, during the research, potential in the interactivity of the library.

With social, cultural and humanistic development, it was essential the organization to disseminate information and knowledge produced. In this way, the emergence of a space in which human knowledge accumulated over the centuries was socialized became vital. Thus emerged the first libraries, institutions promoting and socializing information. However, it was not until the fifteenth century, during the Renaissance - a movement for artistic, literary and scientific reform that originated in Italy and spread to the rest of Europe - that libraries became fully engaged in socializing knowledge. Previously, they were relegated to the main role of conservation and bookkeeping, and conceived as a hostile, gloomy, dusty and silent environment. Thus, new conceptions and configurations of libraries appeared: public, private, specialized, community, mixed. This last, considered the most recent typology, will be the scenario of the process of construction of this research. The following research problem is constituted: what are the effects of cultural actions in the dynamization of the library as a pedagogical and information production space? What are the implications of silence and / or absence of sounds for the dynamization of the library as a space for social and educational transformation? Its general objective is to propose a cultural action plan to break the culture of silence in the IFMA-Campus Timon library. The specific objectives are: to identify the social role of the librarian in the process of mediation in cultural actions; encourage reading in different looks and paper formats; discuss reading incentive actions and cultural production in the IFMA library as a form of dialogue between the "silence" and the multiple actions promoted by the library in question. It subsidizes the methodological course with the orientations of exploratory research, action research, and the qualitative approach. In view of this design, it is expected, as a result of the study and the actions carried out, to facilitate access to information and promote the taste for reading and culture at the IFMA Timon Campus, transforming the local library into a dynamic and pleasant space, as well as propose to the librarians of the institution that they develop a profile of cultural agent, able to transcend barriers and create conditions for the library to really act as a space for cultural production and creation. It is also hoped that the research findings reveal results that could contribute to the rupture of the culture of silence in the library, breaking with the traditional paradigms inherent in the form of access and use of information.

This paper deals with documentary management at the Federal University of Cariri - UFCA. To do so, we have done a literature review on the subject in order to contextualize historically the facts and the relevance of the GD from the beginnings to the days in the information society, passing on topics such as management and documentary treatment, encompassing historical / chronological concepts , laws and archival practices, and also the concept of memory with an institutional approach. The general objective of the work is to investigate the procedures of the documentary management of the students of the Federal University of Cariri, encompassing the procedures of documentary production to the archiving of data, both physical and digital. Our specific objectives are: to evaluate the production, use and archiving of documents; to compare if the methods used in the Archiving are in accordance with the guidelines of the official legislation and norms and, finally, to prepare a Reference Guide for the elaboration of the UFCA Document Management Plan: archiving of physical data. The latter is the final product of the dissertation. We work with the assumption that the institution does not yet have internal regulations that regulate its DG and guide the methods of archiving its documents, preserving its institutional memory in the public, individual and collective interests. The research is justified by the fact that all public institutions have the duty to preserve their institutional memory and guarantee access to information for all who need it, as well as: to facilitate the retrieval of information, to assist the institution's decision-making and to avoid the unnecessary accumulation of papers. As for the methodological procedures, the research is descriptive, exploratory and with a qualitative approach. The data collection was developed empirically through structured interviews applied to two groups of servers in strategic sectors of the UFCA, the directly wanted them with the documentary production / filing. The discussion of the results focused on the analysis of the discourses without losing sight of our research assumption, also dialoguing with authors of articles / books on the subject. As a result of our investigation, we conclude that the UFCA GD is not internally standardized and that each sector of the institution carries out its archiving in isolation with the material resources available to them. In this way, we elaborate our final product mentioned above to contribute with the documentary management of the Federal University of Cariri.

Mediation of the information for the formation of competences in information of the librarian in the scope of the TIC in the university libraries was the one that guided this research, since the discussion is based on the appropriation of the information, the construction of senses and acquisition of the knowledge. To discuss these processes of professional performance of librarians in libraries of the Integrated System of Libraries of the Federal University of Piauí (SIBi-UFPI), satisfactorily elevates their degree of importance in society. The research is part of the design of the following question: How can information mediation practices through information and communication technologies (ICT) contribute to the formation of information literacy skills of the librarian considering SIBi-UFPI reality? The research presented here aims to investigate the mediational practices through ICT, considering the reality of SIBI-UFPI, aiming to understand how the process of skills training in information of the librarian. The work execution methodology delimits the study object being the SIBi-UFPI, of a qualitative and quantitative nature, of the exploratory and descriptive type. The method used was the content analysis, while the data collection was performed through the application of questionnaires with open and closed questions in pre-defined samples of the librarians and users, in addition to a direct observation script used as support to data analysis. After the application of the questionnaires, we analyzed the collected data that allowed us to make the necessary inferences arriving at the result of the research. It is concluded that librarians mostly link the concept of information mediation to access and retrieval of information, since it does not dissociate from the dissemination of information, but they know the importance of developing their work, mainly by linking ICT with the objective of reach the largest number of users. As far as the information skills training process is concerned, it was demonstrated that librarians are seeking to be able to meet the informational demands that come to them, forming a repertoire of competencies to be used in carrying out the service activities in the library. All the discussions were aimed at creating a profile of librarians who recognize themselves as protagonists in the information society and how much one has to contribute in the formation of the user.

This dissertation discourses briefly about the history of the book, its supports and goals through
the centuries. It adresses the advent of Information and Communication Technologies and its
influence on the book and the reading. It discusses electronic books and analyzes their role as a writing support and source of information, as well as the benefits to the libraries that use them. Its main goal is to propose a policy of creation and development of digital book collections for university libraries. It explores, beginning with the literature, the process of creation and development of digital collections and its specifics. It investigates the criteria used by the librarians for the creation and development of the archive of digital books at the Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC). As a tool for collecting data, it utilized a semi-structured online survey applied to the librarians of the university. As a result, it states that the archive of print books at the libraries at UFC is notably larger than the archive of digital books, that the libraries of the university still don’t possess a specific document of orientation for the creation and development of digital collections, that the librarians are concerned with promoting the digital collections, but make little use of tools of monitoring the utilization and evaluation of satisfaction of its users. It concludes that the UFC Academic Library Network needs a policy of creation and development of digital archives that contributes to the maintenance of an updated archive that is adequate to the needs of its users.

This dissertation discusses perspectives for the application of technical mediation in the
Information Organization, under a pluralistic and integrative perception of these fields of
research, in the ambience of the university library. In this sense, the general objective of this
study is to investigate the prospects for the application of technical mediation in the
Information Organization aiming at the construction of a program of action for the
System of Libraries of the Federal University of Ceará. While the objectives
specific approaches: to approach the relations between mediation and Information Organization
in the field of technical mediation; discuss possibilities for the application of mediation
information technology in the Library System of the Federal University of Ceará;
identify possible aspects that characterize the technical mediation of information in the
above system; to propose a program of technical mediation in the
within the scope of the Information Organization for that system. The reasoning
The theoretical-methodological approach is based on the bibliographical and
conceptions of mediation in the context of the Information Organization, discussed
analyze the facts available in the literature, as well as discuss its applicability
in cataloging processes; ranking; indexation; library signage;
collection development policy; services; products; preservation of memory;
use of virtual resources. As for the objectives, it is an exploratory-
descriptive. As for the technical procedures, it is characterized by the
bibliographical, documentary, participant. It is adopted as a technique of data collection,
methods (questionnaires with 33 librarians, 363 users;
semistructured with the director of the Library System and 3 director of libraries
sectoral; direct observation), as well as using content analysis as a technique
of qualitative data analysis. As one of the results presents: The Program of Technical Mediation of Information. It is concluded that the Program brings together a network of actions based on the mediation in the scope of the Information Organization. Thus, it is expected that university libraries will appropriate this material to: demonstrate the Organization of Information as a practice of technical mediation under the multiple possibilities dimension, so that their actions are seen as human and social, carried out for and with the user ; reverberar among the professionals of the area, the mediational character of the sectors that involve the Information Organization in the university library.

Este estudo aborda a gestão do conhecimento (GC) como modelo gerencial verificando se as ações da rede de bibliotecas de um Instituto Federal, especificamente no âmbito de seu sistema de bibliotecas, estão voltadas à essa prática organizacional. Como problema de pesquisa, busca-se confirmar se a GC promove uma gestão mais integradora no que tange ao compartilhamento do ativo de conhecimento existente, visando a construção de novos conhecimentos e o aumento da capacidade de resposta às demandas institucionais. O objetivo é estabelecer um modelo de GC para a rede de bibliotecas do IFCE. Para tanto, a pesquisa caracteriza-se como exploratória, descritiva, aplicada de cunho qualiquantitativa, valendo-se do estudo de caso de um sistema de bibliotecas de uma instituição de ensino superior. Por meio das técnicas de coleta de dados (revisão de literatura, observação direta e aplicação de questionário) foi possível identificar seis modelos de GC, optar por um deles e inquirir os gestores das bibliotecas sobre as ações de GC no SIBI/IFCE. Com os dados coletados, foi utilizado o Microsoft Excel 2016 para a tabulação, geração de gráficos e avaliação estatística das respostas objetivas. A análise e interpretação dos dados ocorreu mediante à técnica de análise de conteúdo categorial, em que as categorias e subcategorias verificadas no estudo são adaptações referentes aos elementos e requisitos para a GC em bibliotecas universitárias, propostas por Castro (2005), buscando averiguar o perfil dos respondentes, a gestão estratégica da biblioteca, os processos de GC e os suportes organizacionais. Os resultados obtidos indicam que o SIBI/IFCE possui iniciativas incipientes de gestão do conhecimento necessitando com urgência formalizar seus processos, alinhar o planejamento estratégico às práticas de GC, mapear seus conhecimentos e competências, bem como desenvolver procedimentos e metodologias que facilitem esse trabalho. Com base nos resultados da pesquisa e na fundamentação teórica-empírica fica evidente a importância que a GC possui no contexto das organizações revelada através de diferentes conceitos, teorias e modelos registrados na literatura científica que procuram constantemente explicar o gerenciamento do conhecimento em qualquer ambiente organizacional e a transferência do conhecimento individual para o conhecimento organizacional visando o aumento de competitividade e inovação.

A informacao e dinamica e ambienta-se em suportes informacionais que o homem utiliza para representar o conhecimento produzido. Quando organizada em instituicoes de guarda surge como elemento importante para a preservacao da memoria coletiva. A presente pesquisa justifica-se pela “escassez” de fontes de informacao que retratam a historia de Paulistana - cidade localizada no estado do Piaui a 460 km da capital Teresina. Objetiva a preservacao dessa memoria por meio da organizacao de um Acervo intitulado Memorias de Paulistana. Para examinar essa formacao historica alguns processos foram realizados como: levantamento de fontes de informacao que retratassem a historia local, organizacao do material coletado no Sistema de Automacao da Biblioteca do Instituto Federal de Educacao, Ciencia e Tecnologia do Piaui – IFPI, Campus Paulistana (Piaui) e a producao de um documentario baseado em fotografias coletadas em campo e narrativas orais. De acordo com os procedimentos metodologicos a pesquisa e de natureza Aplicada. Durante a elaboracao desse processo foram trabalhadas a pesquisa bibliografica para a construcao de um quadro teorico e a pesquisa de cunho documental se fez presente, logo, foram usados documentos institucionais e de arquivo pessoais. Destacou-se o vies qualitativo da pesquisa. Quanto aos objetivos as caracteristicas dos metodos descritivo e exploratorio mostraram-se inerentes a essa pesquisa. O carater historico da metodologia da historia oral proporcionou o uso de gravacoes das falas por meio do uso de instrumento de coleta de dados entrevista semiestruturadas e diretivas que apresentaram uma media de 03 questoes adaptadas para cada entrevistado. A amostra foi feita com 3 (tres) idosos moradores da cidade e com o escritor do Livro Fragmentos historicos de Paulistana - Piaui (1991) - Renato Luis Sapucaia Bandeira. A pesquisa visa contribuir para a preservacao da memoria da cidade, proporcionando o acesso a informacao e contribuindo para a ampliacao do quadro teorico sobre a historia de Paulistana-PI.
